The Best Buys and Sells in Fantasy Football, Week 4
How is it already Week Four? There have been injuries and longer return timetables than expected. At this point in the season, one cannot be too hasty in “frustration drops” but it is time to look at potential trades in redraft and dynasty. Here are a few players that might make for interesting bait to help you right your team or get the edge to keep sailing!

Here are a few players that might make for interesting bait to help you right your team or get the edge to keep sailing!
Buy
Trever Lawrence- QB Jags
Remember Clemson, remember watching tapes of his incredible athleticism and arm? Well here we are entering Week four, and Lawrence is becoming the QB we all wished he was out of the gates last year. Through the first three weeks, he has thrown for 772 yards on 77 competitions. Week three saw him beat the “Superbowl hopeful” Chargers leading his team to their first road win since 2018! Now if you are in a Redraft 1QB league and already have a powerhouse like Allen, Mahomes, or Lamar, sit tight. On the other hand, in a redraft if you have a struggling Russ or are leery of Zach Wilson’s return, trade for him. Dynasty 2 QB leagues, Lawrence will shine for years to come, especially if he keeps his epic locks flowing!
Kyle Pitts-TE Falcons
This might be a really hard buy because fantasy folks are in love with Pitts and the potential he brings to the table. I am one of them and have him in numerous leagues. With that being said, he did come out of the gates swinging this year with only 125 yards and zero touchdowns thus far. But look at the numbers, In Week two he saw three targets and 19 yards with a jump to eight targets and 87 yards. The ceiling is so incredibly high for him. He is a beast and if Mariota continues to feed him the ball, the points will come. Patience is a virtue but fantasy owners are fickle and impatient. So, offer up something juicy that lures an “angry at Pitts” owner and snag him while you still can. My prediction is, come week six, that won’t be possible.
Sell
Chase Edmunds-RB Dolphins
Edmunds is coming off a huge week three of two touchdowns on six carries, almost 16 points in PPR. That’s great, but in week two it was the Mostert show and Edmunds ended with 33 yards and five PPR points. So, can you really trust the Dolphins’ RBBC week in and week out? My gut tells me Edmunds will be the lead back eventually and will be a week-to-week plug-and-play, but shop him around to an RB needy time and you just might be surprised what you can get in return. I’d be willing to ship him for a starting TE like Njoku or Conklin (who might remain a safety blanket for Wilson when he returns this week) or a WR 2. I think he might even be able to yield a 3rd round rookie pick in dynasty, but of course, this has to be to an RB team. Think of someone who lost Montgomery, Cook, or Swift, and go from there.
Mack Hollins- WR Raiders
I know everyone might question this sell player because he has been awesome stepping in for an injured Renfrow as well as commanding targets when Adams is covered. Hollins reeled in 158 yards on 10 targets and one TD. The question is can a fledging Raiders team and Carr support four wideouts when Renfrow comes back? My answer is no. I truly believe that Hollins will slide into the WR4 range behind, Adams, Waller, and Renfrow sooner than later and come back down to Earth. He is an NFL journeyman, and I don’t see this as a Cordarrelle Patterson feel-good season-long story. Sell him now after his monster 22 PPR point outing and reap the benefits. You have to hit while the iron is hot!
