The Best DraftKings Cash Game Picks for Week 3 9/26/2022

Quarterback

Jared Goff ($5,800)

Week 2 wasn’t the best for the cash game article, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to bounce back in Week 3! Jared Goff is a very nice value Quarterback to start your cash game builds. The Lions vs Vikings game has a massive 53 point total. The Lions and The Vikings both play at an exceptional pace. I know rostering Goff isn’t the prettiest thing in the world, but I expect a lot of point in this game. Jared Goff has 71 pass attempts through two games and I’ll take a Quarterback that’s going to throw the ball 30+ times versus a Vikings secondary that could be missing Safety Harrison Smith on Sunday.

Running Backs

Dalvin Cook ($7,900)

Many people will shy away from Dalvin Cook this week after looking at last weeks six carry game, but The Vikings will establish Cook early in this one. When looking at a box score you should ask yourself why did this happen? I’ll tell ya …. The Vikings had two 3 and outs right away on Monday night versus The Eagles. The Vikings ran 6 plays with roughly 12 minutes in the second quarter, and were down 14 points immediately, that is how you get game scripted out of a game. Dalvin should have around 20 touches in this game versus The Lions which rank dead last against the run.

Leonard Fournette ($6,500)

Sunday has a lot of question marks this week. Leonard Fournette is on that list as well. This Sunday will have a lot of moving pieces just looking at all the guys that have a “Q” tag heading into the weekend. I hope most of these guy are a go so we don’t end up with 4k running back chalk. The Bucs are banged up more than an team in the NFL. Tom Brady’s options will be Scotty Miller, Russel Gage, and Breshard Perriman, sounds pretty gross right? I’ll take all the uncle Lenny here. Lenny has had 20+ rushing attempts in both games thus far with The Bucs, and he may have an extended receiving role out of necessity this week.

Wide Receivers

Jamar Chase ($8,100)

The Bengals are 0-2 who saw that coming? NOT ME! I think this week they come out and have a prove it game and steamroll The Jets. Chase has been semi quiet to start the year, however he is still averaging 12 targets per game. All The Bengals look good this week and will be popular in tournaments, but for cash games give me the alpha dog!

JuJu Smith-Schuster ($5,500)

As the week currently sits, I think we’ll see a wide variety of different cash builds. JuJu is just under priced, he should be 6.3k in my opinion. I know he is a super inconsistent player, but he’s been on the field and in a high powered offense like The Chiefs he’s going to get his opportunities. We know Kelce is going to be target a lot, but we’ve also seen that Mahomes is not very interest in Hardman/Moore/MVS. JuJu is still getting 6.5 targets per game in this offense.

Tight-End

Irv Smith Jr. ($3,100)

Hey! Hey! It’s everyone’s least favorite DFS Tight-End. I know Irv has disappointed people for a long time, but that’s mainly due to his inability to stay on the field. Irv has seen an increase in snap share and an increase in targets. Adam Thielen is taking a massive decline. Cousins can’t throw it to Jefferson every play. KJ Osborn doesn’t get throw to. Irv Smith had 8 targets last week. The Lions vs Vikings game has a massive total.

Defense

Defense is never fun to write about, I’m going with The Eagles this week. Carson Wentz has played great this season, but has also has a turnover in every game. Make sure you all pay attention to the news this week. I highly recommend watching the Sunday Show on the going for 2 live youtube channel at 11:30 est. There is a lot of guys that could be ruled out and it could change this slate completely.
