The Game Plan For Week 15 (#FantasyFootball)

Fine readers of the Going For 2 fanbase my name is @TheBLeagueSays and I am 100% ready for the Fantasy Playoffs and I hope you are too! Each week I will give to you some plays to make in regards to your Fantasy team’s weekly roster construction, DFS selections or Dynasty evaluations.

So before we get started – Thank you, and enjoy!

Slant Route

Who is trending up this week?

Denver and Drew Lock are on a bit of a roll, as Lock has led his team to back-to-back wins against highly respected opponents and looks to make it three on the trot. His five touchdowns have been impressively spread around as Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant have stood out in his emergence which will make the Broncos brass extremely happy. And our @GoingFor_2 Dynasty rankers would also be pleased to see our consensus QB32 doing well also.

Denver returns to Kansas this week, and naturally, they are the underdogs, but putting 38 points up on the road to Houston is no joke. However, the line that’s currently set at 46 gives me the giggles.

Giddy up indeed!

Flat Route

The bubble has burst on:

How in the world are the Dallas Cowboys still in with a shot at the NFC East is beyond me. But I haven’t seen a team so confused that every week I can’t tell if they are trying to win a Superbowl are if they’re tanking for Tua.

Maybe half of them have given up and are trying to get their coaches fired in the process. Maybe half of them don’t want to be there anymore. Maybe half of them prefer Jason Witten to be back in the commentary booth. I don’t know.

But what I do know is that Philadelphia’s squad is falling apart. And the Cowboys are sitting back at $1.80 to win their Division. It’s a two-horse race, they’re healthy and can get by with a win over Philadelphia in Week 16 who were nearly done in by Eli Manning in prime time. They have to get past the L.A. Rams this week who have hit a bit of a purple patch recently, but still, it’s a winnable game at home nonetheless.

Something to think about anyway.

Comeback Route

Who will recover after a poor performance in the previous week:

You’d have to think the Texans right? What or who was worse than that last week?! No one right? Right!

Right.

Well, they have a tough divisional road game against the Titans and are also being handed the +3 start as well. It’s not often the Texans aren’t favored, and I think that will tighten up a lot more before Sunday comes around.

Offering some DFS value, Duke Johnson has started to see more work of late and the Titans have been moderately generous to Running Backs. He is coming in at $4100 on Draft Kings and offers a low value-high upside play this week.

Screen Route

The contrarian play of the week:

Remember last year how the Colts went on a ridiculous run of games to get into the playoffs?

Well… Pittsburgh is quietly doing the same thing. The Steelers have won 7 of their last 8 since starting the year 1-4, are on their third or fourth Quarterback (who has a 4-1 record), a second or third Running Back, half their Receivers have barely been in the building longer than a month and have silenced those who said they could be a bottom draft 5 pick in 2020.

This week they are at home to Buffalo – who should win – however, the Steelers only sit surprisingly only one game behind the Bills. We have been saying this about teams against the Steelers whimsically since ‘Big’ Ben went down and yet we are probably likely proven wrong each week and again, the Steelers are home underdogs.

One more time, it’s something to think about.

Out Route

Who am I completely off this week:

There’s no need to think the Bengals will do much this week at home to a New England Patriots team who have lost two in a row is there?

No?

Well, Joe Mixon‘s been doing alright, hasn’t he?

Stop?

Well, John Ross came back last week maybe he can rip a long reception out of nowhere, can’t he?

No?

Well, what about a Tyler Boyd high possession game?

I’m dreaming?

Ok…

Moving right along then!

The 9 Route

A straight forward confidence play of the week:

San Francisco showed that they can toss it about with the best in the business on the road in New Orleans last week, and a home game against Atlanta seems like it could be another easy day at the office.

The Falcons struggle to stop Wide Receivers and are middle of the pack against the Tight Ends. So lining up Jimmy Garoppolo ($6100), Deebo Samuel ($5800), with George Kittle ($6200) is a nice little stack to set up around.

Hail Mary Play Of The Week

Eli Manning.

Riding off into the sunset.

The proper goodbye… this is it Giants fans. The chance you have to say goodbye to a hero spanning nearly two decades is here. And he gets Miami at home to do it.

Eli is going to turn back the clock and give us an average, 225 yards with 2 touchdowns. Now that isn’t a hail mary, but at $5200 on Draft Kings, I will take this as a floor as one of the lowest Quarterback options (Dwayne Haskins at home to the Eagles is $4500) this weekend and build up around that.

And there you have it!
