RB Rashaad Penny (SEA) 24% Rostered

I can’t believe we are here but it’s finally happening. The Rashaad Penny breakout is upon us… maybe. Well, at least the opportunity for the breakout is here. With Chris Carson done for the year plus Travis Homer and Adrian Peterson both out with injuries, the Seattle stable of backs looked like a 3-headed monster on paper with Alex Collins, DeeJay Dallas, and Penny. We know by this point how much the Seahawks love to sprinkle in multiple backs, and they still did this weekend against Houston. But Penny carried the load.

17 total touches compared to 2 (Dallas) and 8 (Collins) for the other backs. And it isn’t just the snaps and touches, it is what Penny did with them. 137 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Both touchdowns were long runs of 30+ yards so not very sustainable, but that kind of efficiency is entirely new to him. I understand that they were playing Houston, who has been deplorable against RBs this year, but Penny should be considered a must-add this week in case the breakout is actually happening. I don’t think AP coming back from injury will matter much at the end of the day. Kyle Bazin @KyleTheCommish

QB Tyler Huntley (BAL) 0% Rostered

Lamar Jackson will likely be out this week with a high ankle sprain. Although Tyler Huntley didn’t dazzle in a loss against the Browns when he came in after Lamar’s injury in the second quarter, he did manage 270 passing yards and a score, not to mention 45 rushing yards.

Assuming he starts, Huntley will be facing off against the Packers next week, which could be a sneaky good matchup for him. The Packers are surrendering an average of 270 passing yards per game over the last three weeks and they rank 32nd in passing touchdowns allowed over that time, an average of 2.7 per game. One also has to assume with the scoring potential Green Bay’s offense has, that the Ravens are likely to be playing catchup most of the game. His two fumbles last week are worrisome, but Huntley managed 38 pass attempts in two and a half quarters of football without an interception. Cecily Riddell @MrsTeamRiddell

WR Jalen Guyton (LAC) 28% Rostered

That is two weeks in a row for Jalen Guyton if you’re scoring at home. Guyton has touchdown receptions of over 40 yards in consecutive weeks. Guyton is averaging 25 yards per catch in those games and has caught 100% of those seven targets. While his target share is not overly impressive, only seven targets over the last two games, his propensity for big plays is.

In Week 14, the Chargers were without Keenan Allen, but Guyton was able to carve out a role with Allen in the lineup the week before. So even with Allen returning for this Thursday’s game against the Chiefs, I believe Guyton is still a decent bet for some additional deep targets from Justin Herbert. Thus, Guyton represents a streaming option that has boom potential for a team competing in the first round of the playoffs. Jay Christensen @JayC_DFF

WR Devante Parker (MIA) 60% Rostered

Coming off a bye in Week 14, Parker and his fellow receivers will likely have to carry the load for the Dolphins offense in Week 15. RBs Myles Gaskin, Salvon Ahmed, and Phillip Lindsay are all currently on the COViD 19 list, so fantasy managers should monitor their statuses leading up to the home game vs the Jets.

Parker has played in only six games all year but has averaged 12.5 PPR fantasy points per game across those six. After missing four games with a shoulder injury, he played 71 percent of the snaps in Week 13 vs the Giants. He registered 5 catches (on 5 targets) for 62 yards. Apparently now healthy and well-rested, Parker has the opportunity to finish as a WR2/WR3 in the remaining four games of the regular season. He could prove to be vital in many title runs. WR Robby Anderson (CAR) 43% Rostered

I’m going to keep this one short because I have been burned by Robby Anderson too much this season, but 12 targets and 83 receiving yards plus a touchdown is significant. Robby has the talent to be a bench WR in fantasy at the absolute worse. The QB situation in Carolina is difficult, to say the least, and it doesn’t feel like the offense can cater to more than one total player each week. That being said, DJ Moore also got over 80 yards this week and Chuba reached the end zone. Maybe this offense is finally turning the corner. Maybe it’s a blip on the radar. Kyle Bazin @KyleTheCommish

TE Austin Hooper (CLE) 40% Rostered

Tight ends are scarce, the good ones that is. Week 14, Hooper saw 7 targets for 30 yards and a touchdown. That’s not incredible by any means, but the Browns take on the Raiders Week 15, and I can see Hooper again being involved. I understand that Njoku should be reactivated, but Baker should look his way again after being productive. So with Waller out and other injuries across the board, I’d fire Hooper up as a TE2.
