The top stacks to consider in DFS: NFL- Week 8

Welcome to the weekly stack article for NFL on DraftKings. The concept behind stacking is simple; the players benefit from each other, compounding the amount of points derived from that play for your fantasy lineup. Most GPP winning lineups will incorporate a stacking methodology in their lineup. Most people think of a traditional QB-WR stack (which is certainly viable) but I will provide a few other ways to effectively stack and increase the ceiling of your team.

Please note, a ton can (and will) change between article posting and kickoff, follow me on Twitter for all my thoughts on additional value coming and going before lineups lock.

The Classic Stack: QB to pass catcher

Ryan Tannehill ($6,800) to A.J. Brown ($6,900) Tennessee Titans at Cincinnati Bengals:

Should be one of the more popular games of the week (and for good reason). Chose the Titans side here because of the narrower target distribution. I expect this passing offense to click and its most likely coming from Brown or Jonnu. Take your pick and fire them up.

The Double Stacker: QB to RB and Pass Catcher

Joe Burrow ($6,200) to Giovani Bernard ($5,800) and Tyler Boyd ($6,600) Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans:

Take your pick with the Cinci pass catcher but Gio is a great addition to create a unique build in this game. If Gio starts, he will probably score his TD through the air which pairs well with what the remaining pass catchers will do. This game his shootout potential written all over it.

The Game Stack: QB to Pass Catcher, bring it back with opposing pass catcher

Jimmy Garoppolo ($5,400) to Brandon Aiyuk ($5,800) bring it back with D.K. Metcalf ($7,500) San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks:

This will be the popular stack game of the week. You can go with either quarterback and each has two pass catchers to choose from (and bring it back with opposing one). I went with the cheaper side of the ball as playing Russ or Kittle is going to be costly.

The Correlation Stack: Starting RB and Defense/Special Teams

Jonathan Taylor ($6,600) and Colts D/ST ($3,100) Indianapolis Colts at Detroit Lions:

Think I have paired this duo a few times halfway through the season. Colts are currently first DVOA on defense and not priced as such. The Colts should be able to control this game and the best way to do that is to lean on the rookie RB and let the D do its thing.
