Top 5 Worst Starting NFL Quarterbacks of 2018

5: Cam Newton

It should not be a surprise to see Cam Newton’s name on this list given the dreadful season he’s having. After starting out very strong and leading his team to a 6-3 record in the first 9 weeks of the season Cam quite simply has completely folded in The Carolina Panthers last 5 games throwing for more interceptions than touchdowns in that span with a ratio of 5 TDs and 8 picks. The Panthers have lost their last 6 games, and 5 of those games are completely due to Cam. It is a little odd to see given the talent he has. Against The Saints the other night he looked as though he was missing his WRs on purpose. Could he be throwing games? That’s a question I have actually been asking myself.

4: Eli Manning

Manning is bad. Do I really need to elaborate? In my opinion even when his New York Giants Won Two Super Bowls against The Patriots earlier on in his career it was on the heels of his defense, running game, and a heck of a catch by WR David Tyree way back when. He should never have been named a Super Bowl MVP as he has never had a game in which he earned it in the manner that players like QB Nick Foles did for Philadelphia, and his brother QB Peyton Manning had for The Colts years ago. Eli is not his brother. He’s not even half as good.

Without much of a Defense in the last few years, it has really started to show. This year specifically Eli has thrown for a paltry 18 TD passes to 10 INTs. If he actually becomes a Hall of Famer after he retires, then we might as well throw Joe Flacco in their too. Speaking of Flacco…

3: Joe Flacco

Joe had one heck of a year during The Ravens Super Bowl run in 2013. That being said he has been only a half decent starter since..until this season. He has been awful this year. I’m not even going to talk about the numbers. The man lost his job to a rookie, and may never start again. Enough said.

2: Josh Rosen

I get it. He’s a rookie. Growing pains are to be expected. That said, how much pain are Cardinals fans going to have to go through with Rosen under center? Rookie or not this kid hasn’t looked good all season long, and that’s with All-Pro WR Larry Fitzgerald to throw to, and All-Pro RB David Johnson in the backfield! As a rookie Rosen has thrown for only 10 TD passes and 14 INTs! Yikes! He also has a Quarterback Rating of less than 67 on the year. He may be the worst rookie at his position I’ve seen play since the days of QB Josh Freeman. Remember him? I would not judge you if you don’t.

1: Dak Prescott

Dak is without a doubt the most overrated QB in The NFL, and quite frankly also one of the leagues worst. The Cowboys have one of the leagues best (and most annoying personality wise) RBs, in the league, as well as a good defense With linebacker Sean Lee Quarterbacking the unit. The bad news for the team is that Lee is without a doubt the only Quarterback all pun intended on the roster. As a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan I hope that Jerry Jones falls for the fools gold Dak has provided in a couple games this year before his dreadful play in a 23-0 loss at The hands of The Colts this past weekend and commits a large number of The Cowboys salary cap to Dak on a multi-year deal.

Image result for Dak awful int vs The EaglesThis season Dak has thrown for only 17 TD passes and 9 INTs. He has also proven to be one of the NFL’s most turnover prone QB’s due to losing at least one fumble in every game…of the season. Wow, he’s terrible. I am actually in awe of how bad Dak is, and how dumb Jerry is for sticking with the guy as his franchise signal-caller. However, If he loses his next two games, and allows my Philadelphia Eagles to come back and win The NFC East this year then I will love him forever for being terrible.
