Top Overvalued and Undervalued Fantasy Players for Week 12

Week 11 was nothing like I expected it to be, and I bet most of you are shocked as well.  I expected the Dolphins and Vikings to keep rolling, but instead they got rolled by the Broncos and Cowboys.  I also did not expect Taysom Hill to blow it away after the craziness of TE vs QB position arguments in fantasy lineups.  Shockingly, the Panthers blew out the Lions and P.J. Walker looked pretty decent under center for the Panthers, and then there were other QBs that disappointed which leads us into Week 12’s overvalued and undervalued players.

Overvalued

Tom Brady Tampa Bay

Ok ok hear me out, I know he is considered one of the greatest and to many the GOAT, but lately Brady is struggling. In Week 11’s games versus the Rams, Brady threw for 216 yards and completed only 26/48 attempts with only 4.5 yards per attempt. The most worrisome statistic is that Brady was only 1-for-9 on attempts of 15 yards or more and two of those attempts were ugly interceptions. The last interception cost Tampa Bay the game. It just seems like Brady’s age is showing more than anyone would care to admit. Brady is being protected well in the pocket, but the passing completions are slowing. I do believe that Brady can still sling it, but the throws are less and less accurate and the big plays are not being made. A Brady-led Tampa Bay was a hot pick for Super Bowl LV contenders and winners, and now will Tampa Bay even be there?

Undervalued

Philip Rivers Indianapolis

Quietly, the Colts are surprising the league, and most recently upsetting the Packers in Week 11. The Colts have posted 30 or more points in four of their last five games. Rivers completed 24-of-36 totaling 288 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 11 game. Rivers is only rostered in 13 percent of ESPN leagues, but with the Colts upcoming schedule of Tennessee, Houston, Las Vegas, and Houston, he makes for a sneaky top 10 QB play. Rivers also found a new receiver in Pittman Jr., and they compliment each other well.

Wayne Gallman New York

Week 11 was a bye for the New York Giants, so there is a chance that Gallman is still out there available in leagues as he is only owned in 55 percent of ESPN leagues, and with that being said Freeman is not eligible to play until Week 13. So Look out Week 12, here comes Gallman. Gallman has scored five touchdowns in the last four games, and next up is a Bengals defense that has allowed an average of 130 rushing yards a game. Yet no one is really talking about Gallman, well because it is the Giants and their offensive line is not the best, but Gallman is finding holes and ways to score in the red zone. He is undervalued and under played in fantasy lineups.

Nelson Agholor Las Vegas

In Week 11, I mentioned Derek Carr as one my undervalued players to target. Week 12, I am hyping up Agholor as a hugely undervalued wide receiver. Agholor scored his 6th touchdown versus the Chiefs and is playing 70 percent of the snaps. It is apparent that Carr has rapport with Agholor and things get better as Las Vegas heads to Atlanta for a showdown. This is the same Atlanta defense that allowed Micheal Thomas to play like a top receiver again! Agholor is only rostered in 16 percent of ESPN leagues. Las Vegas has to capitalize on red zone opportunities, and I believe that Agholor will be that target and change moving forward.
