Ultimate Fantasy Rookie Performances to Follow: Week 11
We have made it to the week that I never thought I would dread…the Jets’ bye week. There has been a Jet in the top 5 of the week since the beginning of the season. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that the Jets are good. Not only are they good, they are young. This could be a thing for a long time. Look at me, talking about the Jets when they couldn’t even make the list!
The top 5 rankings of the week are based on a fantasy football league using PPR scoring. Scores have been parenthesised.
5. George Pickens (14.5)
George Pickens caught 3 passes for 32 yards. Not exactly the best line for a guy who is supposed to catch the ball. Mike Tomlin decided to hand him the ball twice, which led to 23 yards and a touchdown. Weird stat line for my favorite rookie, but nobody is going to complain about double digit points.
4. Brian Robinson Jr (14.6)
The Eagles are a really good team. However, they are not particularly good at stopping the run. This week they let up 152 yards and 2 touchdowns on FORTY NINE carries. Brian Robinson had 26 of the carries for 86 yards and a touchdown – his highest scoring performance of the year!
3. Drake London (14.8)
Thursday night games never seem to follow what anyone thinks will happen. Atlanta was supposed to cram it down Carolina’s throat, and yet, they only rushed 25 times with 5 different people. Their highest scoring player was our poorly used friend, Drake London. It’s nice to see him have some opportunities again.

A QUARTERBACK? Going into the draft, it was well known that this quarterback class was weak and as it turns out, the draft experts were right. It only took ten weeks of football for one to make the weekly top 5. It also took 8 rushes for 51 yards and a touchdown. He would not have made it on the list based on his job of, you know, passing the ball (18/30 for 199 yards and 0 tds).

Watson had 3 catches for 163 yards and 3 touchdowns. Wait, that was Randy Moss his rookie year against Dallas. Watson actually had 4 catches for 107 yards and 3 touchdowns. Why are the Cowboys so bad against rookie wide receivers?
I know you guys only come for the pretty pictures and, of course, the graphs. Here they are!
I am truly sorry for the article being late this week. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Thanks for reading!
Sincerely,
