Ultimate Rookie Report Week 10
A long time ago in a game far, far away (Thursday) lived a boy who has been completely irrelevant. With only one catch on the season, he dreamed of being a star in the league. He played America’s favorite game with a legend who could make him famous. Finally, under the bright lights of Thursday Night Football, Malachi Corley was given a handoff. He sprinted, untouched toward the endzone for his first touchdown of the season. That is, until the fatal flaw of hubris struck. One step from the endzone, Corley celebrated his first score in the National Football League! The ball rolled out the back of the endzone, causing a turnover. Our little Icarus flew too close to the sun.
It was a weak week for rookies but here are the top 5 performances for you PPR fans.

It isn’t easy to shine behind Keenan Allen and DJ Moore but despite being 3rd in targets Odunze was first in catches and yards. In fact, Rome Odunze accounted for almost half of Caleb Williams’ pass yards this week. He caught five of his seven targets for 104 yards.

It’s always confusing to have a Desmond Ridder sighting. Especially if it includes a touchdown. Bowers was second on the team in both targets (8) and yards (45) and caught a touchdown.

Davis made the most of having only a couple of touches this week. Four carries for 20 yards and two catches for 70 yards and a touchdown was all Davis needed to make the list this week. The biggest chunk of yards/points was a 63 yard catch for the touchdown.
2. Bo Nix (18.7)
A Bo Nix receiving touchdown? The Denver Broncos were pounded by the Baltimore Ravens this week but it did allow for this exciting, flukey little play. When he wasn’t catching touchdowns, Bo completed 19 of 33 passes for 223 yards and rushed for 36 yards. An interception kept Nix from breaking the 20 point barrier and the top spot of the day. Bo has cracked the top 10 fantasy quarterbacks on the season after having an average draft position of 198.

Jayden Daniels did his typical stat filling. Against a low key good Giants defense, Daniels completed 20/26 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran the ball seven times for 54 yards and another touchdown. A fumble kept Daniels out of the 20 point club for the week, but he maintains his third best quarterback on the year status.
Hopefully the NFL trade deadline inspires you to make your team better for the second half of the season.
Stay Healthy.
