Ultimate Rookie Report Week 11 2025

Two huge rookie performances this week and then… well… some rookies tried their hardest. What they lacked in scores, they are full of newness to the countdown. That counts as something, right?

It would feel like football malpractice if I didn’t mention Shedeur Sanders saw an NFL field for the first time this season. He completed 4/16 passes for 47 yards and an interception. Sanders absolutely proved why he fell all the way to the fifth round of the draft. I heard a rumor that if you say Shedeur’s name three times into a camera Deion Sanders appears. Really, I’m only mentioning him for the clicks. Everyone needs a little search engine optimization sometimes, right?

Two of these guys had a lot of PPR points. Three of these guys played football this week. This is a countdown for the top five rookie performances of the week.

5. Tyler Loop (12)

A kicker that is actually a rookie this time! Loop made three field goals (25, 24 and 44 yards) and two extra points. Yay! I told you this was a rough week. Loop tied for 5th place in kicker points this week. The Ravens play the Jets this upcoming week, so Loop will have plenty of chances to kick the ball. Sorry, I don’t know how to predict the efficacy of a kicker.

4. Cam Ward (13.1)

I CAN’T BELIEVE CAM WARD FINALLY MADE THE LIST. And it was against the dominant defense of the Houston Texans of all teams. Coming in at a respectable QB17, Ward completed 24/37 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown. He also ran the ball three times for 33 yards. Luckily, it was a very down week for rookies so Cam Ward could finally have his roses. The Tennessee Titans play the Seahawks next week, so Ward will probably shrink back into obscurity.

3. Bhayshul Tuten (13.4)

Tuten and Etienne had almost the exact same stat line in the Chargers blowout. Tuten had one more yard, while Etienne had one more touchdown. Tuten ran the ball 15 times for 74 yards and one touchdown. The Jacksonville backfield becomes quite murky when their two backs have the same ability. The Jaguars fly to Arizona to face the Cardinals who are middle of the pack (18th) in rush defense

2. TreVeyon Henderson (32.3)

Finally! Now we’re talking! TreVeyon Henderson didn’t do anything spectacular yards wise. He only ran for 62 yards on 19 carries. He was fine in the air, catching all five passes that came his way for 31 yards. Henderson absolutely CRUSHED in the redzone, getting three touchdowns. He scored more touchdowns this week than he has the whole rest of the season. It was the Jets, so expectations have to be tempered, but it’s been two solid weeks in a row. Henderson has the privilege of running on the Bengals next week, who are second worst in the league against the run. If I could bet on my own countdown, I would say Henderson makes the list next week.

1. Tetairoa McMillan (33)

Coming in at WR1 for the week, we have Tetairoa McMillan. McMillan dominated the Atlanta Falcons. Twelve targets, eight receptions, 130 yards and two touchdowns are the kind of stats fantasy managers (and Panthers fans) want to see. Bryce Young is not going to set the franchise record for yards every week, but it was nice to see. McMillan is clearly Young’s favorite target, so big performances are always a possibility. Next week, the Panthers travel to Santa Clara to take on the 49ers on Monday Night Football. The 49ers defense is getable this year and currently sits at 28th in passing defense. If you drafted Tet, you’re crossing your fingers and hoping for a McMillan coming out party on national television.

For those curious, Egbuka and McMillan are neck and neck for the best rookie wide receiver this year. They are currently sitting at WRs 8 and 9 overall. Only 2.8 points separates them.

Good luck out there,
