Half of my favorite rookie combo has been ruined. Nathaniel “Tank” Dell broke his fibula in Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos. He didn’t even record a catch. We have been insanely lucky this year keeping our young stars healthy, so the injury bug was bound to hit eventually. Rest in peace Tank and come back even stronger next year.
Points tell me how to put these people in order.

Parker caught his first six catches of the season Monday night against the Bengals. He went for 61 yards and a touchdown. Washington played well enough that he should see more action going forward, especially if Christian Kirk is out with an injury for multiple weeks.

It’s always good to see Puka on the list. He caught four of his seven targets for 105 yards and a touchdown. He also had two rushes for 34 yards. Fun Fact: Puka is one of three players to hit 20 mph in both rushing and receiving in the same game this year. The other 2 are Tyreek Hill and Deebo Samuel.

Achane took control of the lead back duties for the Miami Dolphins this week. 17 carries led to 73 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 30 more yards. When he’s healthy, he is amazing. Hopefully it stays that way.

Two new guys are making the list in the same week this late in the season? Jake Browning played like Joe Burrow on Monday night. He had an absurd 32/37 passes completed (86.5%) for 354 yards and a touchdown. He also had two rushes for 22 yards and a touchdown. He even had a reception! The play was awkward and it went for -7 yards but he did it! Browning is an interesting potential play going into the fantasy playoffs.

By the end of the season, we may be saying Sam LaPorta was the best rookie tight end in history. There’s still plenty of time and he’s already tied for fifth best in touchdowns and ninth in yards. He will easily have this title for the fantasy football era (Mike Ditka will be hard to pass, but we’ll see). This week LaPorta caught all nine of his targets for 140 and a touchdown.
Good luck with either holding onto your spot in the fantasy playoffs or clawing your way into the fantasy playoffs or playing in your fantasy playoffs. Whatever applies to you.
Sincerely,
@MeLlamoMoron
