Ultimate Rookie Report Week 18 2025
End of Regulation
Here we are at the end of another NFL regular season. Week 18 is always wonky because it’s nearly impossible to predict what coaches will do or who will care. Hopefully your championship didn’t come down to this. If it did, these players may have helped you win. As always, PPR points are in parenthesis and the new stat of percentage started has entered the chat.

The Miami Dolphins allowed 243 yards of rushing in week 18. TreVeyon Henderson only accounted for 53 of them, but he can’t help that the endzone stopped him twice. Henderson has the ability to put up crazy points and could go deep in the playoffs if you happen to participate in a playoff league.

Jaxson Dart really stuck it to the division rival Dallas Cowboys without having literally any of his top options available. His leading receiver for the game, Gunner Olszewski, put up more yards in this game than any full year in his six year career. He wasn’t even on a team last year! Dart completed 22/32 for 230 and two touchdowns. He also added 32 yards on the ground. I truly cannot wait to see what a new coaching staff and a full compliment of weapons will do to Dart’s career.

I really enjoy the percentage stat. I wish I had thought to use it sooner. It’s time like this we get to enjoy the variance of randomness of the game. With 21 completions, Leonard threw for 270 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. He added another 21 yards and a touchdown on the ground. There is a near zero chance that Riley Leonard starts next year if Daniel Jones gets healthy. However, there is a chance…

As a Panthers fan, I had to root against Shough and it hurt my heart. The little engine that could still managed to make the list and let my favorite team into the playoffs. Shough still played well, completing 23/35 passes for 259 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He also ran for 34 yards and another touchdown. The Saints really lucked into a winner in last year’s draft. Hopefully he gets a wide receiver in the draft that we can track here next year.

Loveland absolutely dominated the target share from quarterback Caleb Williams in a game against the Lions. His 13 targets (10 of which he caught) far outpaced his teammates. The next closest in team target share was fellow rookie Luther Burden’s four. For the penultimate game of the regular season, Loveland had 91 yards, the aforementioned ten catches and a touchdown to be the week 18 rookie of the week.
Although for 99% of the fantasy community these numbers going forward won’t matter, we’ll be back next week seeing how the rookies did. Have a good week!
