Ultimate Rookie Report Week 7 2025
The Broncos had an absolutely historic quarter. Against the Giants, Bo Nix and the Broncos scored 33 points, all in the fourth quarter. No team that has been shut out for the first three quarters of a game has put up that many points in the fourth. This fact made at least one of our ranking regulars very sad (foreshadowing!).
We play a game of who has the most imaginary points based on stats. These are the best rookies of the week if you get a point for every catch they get.

Skattebo continues to be one of the best rookie running backs of the class. This week, 16 rushes led to 60 yards and three receptions led to another 34 yards and a touchdown. I didn’t get a chance to watch this game, but it’s odd to me that they didn’t lean on him more to bleed the clock and stop the record setting quarter the Broncos had. Next week, Skattebo faces an Eagles defense that he already dominated once, so now we can see if the 98 yards and three touchdowns is the real deal or just a fluke.

We, as a football community, have been waiting for this game. For the first time in Hunter’s career, he went over 100 yards (101 to be exact) and got his first touchdown. It only took garbage time in London for it to happen. Unfortunately, he cannot build on this momentum this upcoming week because the Jaguars are on bye. For anyone curious, Hunter had 14 snaps on defense and one pass defensed.

Cleveland has really decided to lean into the run game and it’s working. Quinshon Judkins had a massive 25 carries for 84 yards and three touchdowns. Cleveland goes to New England next week who are 11th in total defense, but 3rd in rushing defense, only allowing 77.1 yards per game and three touchdowns on the season. It’ll be tough sledding, but Judkins went for 94 yards and a touchdown against the Packers, who currently sit in second for rush defense. There is hope!

I believe this is the first ever first place tie on the Ultimate Rookie Report! Against the Broncos, Dart had 15 pass completions for 283 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing output was considerably down compared to his average, only getting 11 yards, but he did get a touchdown. He threw a bad interception in the fourth quarter that ultimately led to the Giants losing the game. Deep down, I think he’s more upset about letting fantasy owners down by losing the two points and the sole possession of first place on the Ultimate Rookie Report. Dart and the Giants play the Philadelphia Eagles next week. When they played two weeks ago, Dart made the rankings. I believe the Eagles will do everything in their power not to let that happen again, but Dart has been solid since taking the starting job.

Oronde Gadsden II makes the list for the first time this season after his performance against the Indianapolis Colts. Gadsden caught seven of nine targets for 164 yards and a touchdown. You don’t need me to tell you this is a truly massive performance. However, this comes with a big but… The Chargers were getting pounded by the Colts all day. Justin Herbert had to attempt 55 passes just to try to catch up. This surely cannot happen regularly, but I gave him the nod for the top spot because Dart will have plenty more chances. Good job, Gadsden. Prove me wrong.
Have a good week and good luck in all your matchups!
