Week 16 Sunday (12/24) Main Slate DFS Stud and Value Plays

Week 16 DFS

Did you miss your fantasy playoffs? Get knocked out last week? Trying to make some extra Christmas cash? Or Do you just enjoy Daily Fantasy? If you answered Yes to any of those, these players will help you create your cashing lineup for week 16.

Quarterback

Stud: Justin Fields ($7,100 DK/ $8,300 FD)

Overall Justin Fields has not been the most consistent player this season. On top of that he missed a few games due to injury. Fields is fighting for his spot on the team in the future, so i expect him to come out swinging this week in a favorable matchup. He does have an average touchdown to interception ratio of 14/8. This is all about who he’s playing here in the Arizona Cardinals, let’s face it they stink. While they give up only 219.3 pass yards per game, they allow 139.6 rush yards per game. On the ground is where Fields is going to really excel. The strong rushing attack could open up things in the air as well.

Value: Nick Mullens ($5,000 DK/ $7,000 FD)

Two words that automatically give Mullens a huge boost are: Justin Jefferson. T.J. Hockenson is not a bad safety valve for him as well. The Detroit lions let up a decent amount of points per game (22.4). As well as allowing 225 passing yards a game. This is a spot of Mullens to have a great game and keep the Vikings in the playoffs.

Running Back

Stud: Derrick Henry ($6,800 DK/ $7,900 FD)

Yes, last week he had an abysmal fantasy week against the Texans, thats even more of a reason to ride Henry this week. Do you really think he will have two down weeks in a row? Plus the added bonus of lower ownership after a bad week. The three prior games to week 15 he posted at least 18.1 points per game. Seattle also allows 127.3 yards per game on the ground. King Henry will get fed and he will feast.

Value: Chuba Hubbard ($5,700 DK/ $6,400 FD)

Chuba has double digit fantasy points in four straight games. Over his last three he’s rushed at least 20 times with at least 87 yards. On top of him having a hot hand he faces the added benefit of facing the Green Bay defense who on the season has let up 138.8 rushing yards a game.

Wide Receiver:

Stud: Justin Jefferson ($8,100 DK/ $9,200 FD)

This is the third week back for J-Jetta, it will be the most healthy he’s been in months. Last week, with Mullens at the helm, he was targeted ten times bringing in seven of those for 84 yards. Like I said earlier the Lions don’t exactly limit passing offenses allowing 225 yards in the air each game. Plus he is Justin Jefferson, the best receiver in the league.

Value: Tyler Lockett ($5,600 DK/ $ 6,700 FD)

After last weeks big game from Jaxon Smith-Njigba all eyes will be on him. Lockett will slide right under the radar here. To start he has multiple receptions in every single game this season. Tennessee is allowing the 21st most passing passing yards per game (226.4) as well as the 17th most points against each game (21.1). Lockett is poised for the sneaky big game we all know he has the potential at.

Tight End

Stud: Evan Engram ($5,400 DK/ $6,300 FD)

Tampa Bay ranks 30th against the Tight End position, so thats always a great place to start. The Bucs allow 263.9 passing yards per game. Throughout this season Engram has had several huge games, so the potential is there as everyone knows. Since the Jaguars bye week six weeks ago he’s seen at least six targets while hauling a minimum of four a week. Also, in the case that Lawrence does not play CJ Beathard does tend to target Tight Ends.

Value: Tucker Kraft ($3,700 DK/ $4,000 FD)

It shouldn’t be too much a surprise here, Tucker Kraft can play. This is more of a playing the hot hand. Over his last three games Kraft is seeing at least four targets while bringing in three of them a game. To be honest here he doesn’t need to do that much to here at this price, but lets hope he has his career game while we are riding him.

Defense/ Special Teams

Stud: Houston Texans ( $3,600 DK/ $4,000 FD)

While two of their big performers on this side of the ball are Questionable still, Jimmie Ward and Will Anderson Jr. both did not play last week either. Therefore that should not scare you away from a team still fighting for their season. In four of their last six games they posted at least eight fantasy points. In five of those six games they have an INT. Plus in two of those six the Texans have multiple INTs. To make this matchup even more enticing for the Texans defense, Joe Falcco is starting for the Browns.

Value: Chicago Bears ($2,800 DK/ $4,400 FD)

This one will be most shocking to most of you, I know. However, if you look at what they have recently it honestly could be the least surprising pick here. The Bears Defense has put up a minimum of 14 fantasy points over their last three. In each of those games they have multiple INTs. As well as stating the obvious of them facing Arizona with Kyler Murray at Quarterback. This matchup is as good as you can get, they just need to limit James Conner and I foresee another big week from the Bears here.

Good luck with all your lineups this. Hopefully these plays put you over the top for your ultimate goal here of hitting it big!
