Week 8 Fanduel Cash Picks

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson vs Pittsburgh ($8,400)

It’s finally Lamar Jackson Week. Lamar Jackson has been sub par this year for his expected performance. I think the game script fits well here vs Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh has a good defense don’t get me wrong but with these two great teams I expect to see a competitive and higher scoring game. Lamar Jackson’s price finally dropped and for just $8,400 I’m in.  Pittsburgh ranks 14th vs the Quarterback position.

Running Backs

Clyde Edwards-Helaire vs The Jets ($7,500)

Some people may shy away from this one due to the Le’veon Bell threat. The Jets are awful everyone knows that. They rank dead last against the Running Back position at 32nd. CEH is still the lead back and when this game blows out he’ll get his run, however in the process of it blowing out I expect to have CEH get his production.

Johnathan Taylor vs The Lions ($7,300)

Johnathan Taylor’s workload has come down slightly the past two weeks, but The Colts want to be a run first team and I expect them to feed the young rookie this week in a great match-up vs Detroit. Detroit ranks 30th against the Running Back position.

Wide Receivers

Brandon Aiyuk vs Seattle ($5,900)

This is a player you should have alot of on both Draftkings and Fanduel. Nothing new here Seattle is awful against the pass, but Brandon Aiyuk gets a huge bump with Deebo Samuel ruled out. The rookie has looked great so far this season and I see no reason not to have a ton of him everywhere!

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown vs Pittsburgh ($5,900)

I’m playing Lamar Jackson, and while you can run Lamar Jackson with out a stacked Wide Receiver due to his rushing upside, I’m pairing him with Brown. The Steelers rank 29th vs the Wide Receiver position, I’ll take my shots with Hollywood Brown getting past the defense once.

Tight-End

George Kittle vs Seattle ($7,700)

I’ll say it again Seattle is awful against the pass. Seattle is actually really good at defending Tight-Ends, they rank 3rd vs the position. George Kittle is a freak athlete and with Deebo Samuel out I see no reason why Kittle can’t have 10+ targets. Normally I dont pay up at Tight-End, but I think Kittle is in a smash spot here and I also don’t think many people will be willing to pay the hefty $7,700 price tag. Kittle is a great way to get contraian in tournaments this week but I also trust him enough in cash.

Defense

Kansas City Cheifs vs The Jets ($5,000)

Unfortunately I had issues with my article last week, but I recommended The Chiefs last week as well and it panned out great. The Chiefs defense is actually extremely good and now they get a phenomenal match-up vs The Jets not much more to say. If you need a cheaper defense I think you could safely move to The Chargers if you need the savings.
