Uniforms 32-thru-25 (No. 32 Chiefs All-White)
The Chief’s finished the 2019 season as the best team in the NFL, but their uniforms leave a lot to be desired. The white-white with the red helmet works well together, and the classic arrowhead on the helmet is perfect, but it’s that ugly orange stripes that keep the Chiefs at the bottom of this list.
31 Bengals Color Rush
The white-on-white of the Bengal’s color rush uniforms accented by the black Bengal stripes on the pants is uniform perfection — it’s that stark orange helmet that keeps this uniform from being higher on this list.
30 Packers Alternate
Personally, this uniform is the ugliest on this list, but the voters on both Facebook and Instagram actually voted for this monstrosity. I chalk this up to my wife being a Packers’ fan and all her family is from Wisconsin. Some of them follow the GoingFor2 Facebook page and others follow me on Instagram, they had to be the ones that voted. It’s the only explanation.
29 Texans Red Top/Navy Pants
The Texans’ uniforms were another one that finished higher than I had expected. I don’t know why I don’t like these uniforms, but they just don’t stand out to me.
28 Saints Color Rush
The Saints may have the best white-on-white color rush jersey’s in the league and quite frankly I think they should be higher on this list, but voters didn’t seem to be fans on any of the white-on-white combos.
27 Lions Color Rush
The Lions color rush uniforms may have been hurt by the fact the slide to vote for them was proceeded by the Panthers Black uniforms, which look very similar. The lighter blue for the Panthers uniforms creates a better contrast in colors and an overall better uniform. Seeing these two uniforms back-to-back made the differences more apparent and therefore received fewer votes.

26 Browns Color Rush
Browns, can we get something on the helmet? Anything? These are one of the better color rush uniforms and should have finished higher, but it’s the Browns, are you surprised they finished 26th?
25 Bears Alternate Dark
The stark orange lettering really makes this uniform pop when compared to the white lettering with an orange outline. The helmets with no signature “C” on the side is what keeps this uniform down.
Uniforms 24-thru-16 (No. 24 Colts Throwbacks)
I’m not a fan of the Double Colt logo on the back of the helmet and the uniform itself looks like a high school squad.
23 Jets Black Monday
I really like these uniforms and thought they might finish higher. The Helmet is by far the best feature of these uniforms.
22 Ravens Classic Purple
There something about purple and black that just works. The Raven with a “B” is kinda “meh”, but the color combination almost overcomes that flaw.
21 Panthers Black
Carolina Blue is one of the more iconic colors in all of sports and combined with the black is a solid look for the Panthers. The Panthers’ logo needs work.
20 Cardinals Black
From the neck down these uniforms are awesome. It’s the white helmet that kills it for me.
19 49ers Black
I love the 49ers Black uniforms, but the Gold helmet just doesn’t look right. Personally, if they were going to leave the helmet gold, the lettering on the uniform should have been gold too.
18 Cowboys Throwbacks
I really expected this uniform to finish higher for two reasons, 1) it’s a good looking uniform and flows well with the helmet and 2) it’s the Cowboys. Their fans pop up everywhere.
17 Broncos Throwbacks
The orange and blue of these throwbacks are much better than the Broncos colors these days. The signature “D” logo is iconic.
16 Jags Black
The best part of these uniforms is the helmet. The matte black fade into gold is very unique and looks damn good.
Uniforms 15-thru-10 (No. 15 Vikings Classic Purple)
The classic purple for the Vikings brings to mind many Hall of Fame players from Chris Carter to Randy Moss to the days of the Purple People Eaters.
14 Rams Throwbacks
The simplistic color scheme of blue and yellow works well with the terrible Ram horns on the helmet. Outside of that, this uniform is one of the better throwbacks on this list.
13 Dolphins Orange
A bit of an ode to the Miami Hurricanes, the Dolphins wearing orange is so unique and completely different than their normal color scheme that it actually works. In fact, it works so well, these should be their normal uniforms.
12 Bills Throwbacks
The minimalist design on the helmet is what sets this uniform apart from other throwbacks. A lot of the throwbacks use the same helmet but the Bills opted to even “throwback” the helmet and it’s near perfection.
11 Raiders Classic
What can be said about the classic silver and black of the Raiders that hasn’t already been said? Uniform’s so good that they haven’t needed much updating over the years.
Uniforms 10-thru-3 (No. 10 Bucs Creamsicle)
The Creamsicle uniforms are the second-best thing the Bucs have ever done, with the first being their Super Bowl victory. Ranking 10th in this exercise is a crime.
9 Redskins Spear Helmet
If the Redskins ever decide to change their name, these are the uniforms they should wear. Check that, even if they don’t change their name, these are the uniforms they should wear.
8 Giants Red-Trimmed Sleeves
A subtle change can go a long way. These uniforms aren’t much different from today’s version, except for the red trim on the sleeves. You almost can’t help but think of Lawerence Taylor and not remember the red-trimmed uniforms.
7 Falcons Red Helmet Throwbacks
The current black on black Falcons helmet with some red-trim on the falcon’s wings is no match for this retro look helmet.
6 Steelers Color Rush
Black and yellow just…works. These color rush uniforms are the second-best color rush uniforms according to voters, but to me, they should have been first.
5 Titans “Oilers” Throwbacks
The Oilers logo not being in the NFL anymore is a crime. The Titans ode to their history is great, but the Texans should have adopted the logo when they came into the league.
4 Patriots Throwbacks
The logo on the helmet is one of the more complex logos I can remember on an NFL helmet, but it works. Then to pair that helmet with that stark uniform color, it makes me hate the Patriots a little less.
3 Eagles Throwbacks
Affectionately known to Eagles fans as the Randall Cunningham uniform, this uniform is throwback perfection. The green and white complements each other so well that your eyes are drawn to it. This should have been in the top 2 over the next uniform on this list.
Uniform No. 2 Seahawks Color Rush
This was the biggest surprise to me through this whole process. The voters chose this uniform in head-to-head matchups with the Bills throwbacks, the Redskins Spear Helmet and the Eagles throwbacks. I would have taken all three of those uniforms over this terrible uniform. Maybe it’s because I’m a 49ers fan, but I hate this uniform.
The Uniform Champion: Chargers Powder Blues
The Powder Blues remain supreme. Pure uniform perfection. The Powder Blues did the world a favor by defeating the ugly Seahawks uniforms. It is doubtful that the Powder Blues will ever be dethroned as the best uniform.
