DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 1/30/19
Congratulations to me for picking Alex Len on the Monday Slate, he put up 37.25 fantasy points at 4300 DK. Also congratulations to me for not taking my own advice and rostering Alex Len on said slate. Whoops! Anyway on to the picks.
Top Plays
Nikola Jokic (10,900 DK) @ New Orleans
Who exactly is still available to play up front for New Orleans. The Brow has been hurt and wants to leave anyway, Julius Randle and Nikola Mirotic have injury issues they are battling through and there has even been a Cheick Diallo sighting. All this adds up to a stellar matchup for the Joker. Jokic is matchup proof as is, but this matchup is especially good! I’m even going to take my own advice on this one, and roster the Joker in all formats.
Luka Doncic (8,800 DK) @ New York
Whether it is successful (see James Harden) or a failure (see D’Angelo Russell) I love going after the Knicks Defense. Enter Luka Doncic who just put up a triple double and 69.5 fantasy points against a tough Toronto team. Do you think he is at all fazed by Madison Square Garden or the Knicks? No on either. Luka is a great pick in this spot.
Value Plays
Alex Len (4500 DK) @ Sacramento
I’m going right back to Alex Len after his solid performance against the Clip Show. He does not have to do much to reach value at 4500 and against a pace up Sacramento team and the likes of Willie Cauley-Stein, and Kousta Koufos (he might not play much, but is still on the Kings roster, I checked), Len is a great pick.
Jeremy Lin (4100 DK) @ Sacramento
Linsanity is back, well sort of. He might not play much but against a pace up Sacramento team, Jeremy Lin needs to only score 20.5 fantasy points to reach 5x value. Linsanity hovers around that area most games, and is more likely than not to hit it, clearing the way for some stars in your lineup.

Kemba Walker (8200 DK) @ Boston
You all know by now how I feel about Kemba Walker on the road. Against Boston regardless of whether Kyrie Irving suits up or not, this is not the ideal situation for Kemba. While he is averaging 48.1 fantasy points per game against the Celtics this year I think he is going to have a hard time in this game, stay away.
Jahlil Okafor (6600 DK) versus Denver
Jahlil Okafor has been playing out of his mind recently. Apparently, DK agrees as his price just keeps climbing and climbing. Nikola Jokic is a tough matchup for Okafor both offensively and defensively and I just can’t justify spending 6600 DK for him though.
