As I write tonight’s column I am sitting here patiently waiting to see if Lavar can speak it into existence yet again and get Lonzo to Phoenix. I have no idea why I care about this, and why I have some strange fascination with all things Lavar, but the man just seems to make it happen. Now on to some picks…

Of course you can go with James Harden here, or Giannis, but I am going to spice it up and pick Donovan Mitchell. Do you think any of the following players are a good matchup for Donovan Mitchell? Elie Okobo, Devin Booker, Jamal Crawford? I don’t and think this should be a nice spot for Donovan. I have been hesitant to pick him since Ricky Rubio returned to full strength but I will tonight. He’s reasonably priced and in a great spot against the Suns.

Kenrich Williams (New Orleans) $5,000 vs. Chicago
I’m a grown man, and I like Kenrich Williams, a lot. There I said it! While his price is rising, Kenrich is still about $500-600 too cheap in my opinion. I am going to ride the Kenrich Williams wave until either some of the Pelicans players actually decide to play, or he gets so expensive I cannot justify it anymore (see Jahlil Okafor).

Familiar narrative here, Kemba Walker is not nearly as good on the road as he is at home. Additionally, in an earlier game against the Mavericks this season, Kemba put up 22.3 fantasy points, which may or may not be his season low. There are some great spend ups on this slate, Kemba Walker is not one of them.
