But it seems the lack of preseason has caused more damage. Granted there's no sceintific proof that a lack of preseason is the root of this injury plague but it's not a far stretch of the imagniation. As much as players complain about preseason it should be noted how valuable those reps are. Slowly adjusting your body to game action seems to be a crucial part of recovering from the offseason. It also gives end of the roster guys an opportunity to show their skills before cut day. It also should be noted that due to COVID the number of paded practices were limited. Another opportunity for players to get used to hitting and transitioning to the start of the season was gone. That will change next season as a new collective barganing agreement was reached earler this year. The Super Bowl will be won by the team with the best scouting department and medical staff.
