The Washington Football Team is in a pickle that they really don’t need to be in.
Kyle Allen dislocated his ankle Sunday against the Giants. Don’t worry, the video won’t be posted because watching gruesome injuries is gross and I assume those of you who do watch them eat oatmeal raisin cookies.
Monsters.
Alex Smith entered and threw for 1 TD and 3 INTs.
If only there was a QB Washington could turn to that could put them in a better position to win.
After pushing him to the bottom of the depth chart it’s time to give Dwayne Haskins a legit shot. Listen, he can’t be any worse than Daniel Jones.
It’s got to be frustrating seeing a guy who almost had his leg amputated getting snaps over a perfectly healthy 23 year old first round pick.
That’s not going to happen, though. Washington has its eyes on one of the fancy new toys entering the draft in 2021. As it stands Washington would have a top-five pick.
A pick they could use on what appears to be a decent quarterback class outside of Trevor Lawrence.
It’s no secret; Ron Rivera wants to pick his own guy and the irony is that Haskins replacement at Ohio State will probably be his replacement in the NFL. A raw deal in its purest form.
