2016 Fantasy Football Week 8 Buy Low/Sell High

Buy Low

James White (RB9) – While LeGarrette Blount takes the headlines with his eight touchdowns, White has over 11 fantasy points per game since Brady came back.

Odell Beckham Jr. (WR8) – 42% of his total fantasy points came in one week. For this reason, Beckham Jr. owners seem to be active sellers, so I’ll be buying a top talent for cheap.

Jordy Nelson (WR24) – Nelson has four fantasy points over the past two weeks. Davante Adams had 25 fantasy points last week. Randall Cobb’s has 38 fantasy points over the past three weeks. However, Nelson is still the receiver I prefer on the Packers, and you can now buy him at a discount.

DeAndre Hopkins (WR26) – Hopkins has 27 targets over the past 2 weeks. The next highest targeted player on the Texans has 14 targets over the same time period. He’s the clear top option on his team, and is too talented to finish the season outside the top 25 at his position.

Allen Robinson (WR42) – I refuse to believe a guy this talented is going to finish as WR42 this year.

Jimmy Graham (TE9) – Graham has 23 catches for 355 yards over his past four games. He’s been consistently involved in the Seahawks attack and a consistent tight end is hard to find this season.

Sell High

Melvin Gordon (RB3) – Touchdowns WILL regress. Gordon will not finish the year with 23 touchdowns which is his current pace. He’s averaging only 3.3 yards per carry, which is 50th among running backs.

Tevin Coleman (RB7) – If you haven’t yet, you may have lost your window to sell, but it’s still worth a try as Coleman sits at RB7.

Jay Ajayi (RB9) – Ajayi will not rush for 200 yards each week. He’s currently seventh in rushing yards among running backs this season, even after rushing for only 107 yards total in the first five weeks. I think Ajayi is a top 15 RB, but the matchups get a bit harder after the bye.

C.J. Anderson (RB12) – Anderson was out-snapped by Devontae Booker on Monday night in a game where both players were healthy.

Jordan Howard (RB25) – Ka’Deem Carey has carved into Howard’s role, and Jeremy Langford may come back and take some work as well.

Davante Adams (WR17) – There are too many mouths to feed in Green Bay to keep Adams inside the top 20 receivers. He’s the third option on the offense at best, and I can’t see him ever having a better game than he did last Thursday.
