Free NBA DFS Draftkings Lineup and Advice: 11/23/15

Long time, no see, but we are back to talk NBA on a frigid Monday afternoon. Our picks this year have been sensational so far, so let’s keep the win streak going! Our lineup last time, on November 12th put up 317.25 DK points!!  Here’s a look at the LU:

Point Guards

Reggie Jackson -$7,600 @ MIL

Many forget when Russell Westbrook was out last year early in the season Reggie Jackson was an awesome fantasy player and put up big numbers in Westbrook’s absence. Jackson has shown he can be a productive starter in this league, the 80 million dollar man is averaging 20.4 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 5.8 APG, and 1 steal/game, stuffing the stat sheet in multiple ways. Even though he has put up all-star caliber numbers, his price on DK is still only $7,600. The most surprising thing about his numbers this year is that he is only playing about 31 minutes/game(Maybe that’s why his DK price is so low) He should get close to 38 minutes tonight, as the game should come down to crunch time, the spread is only Milwaukee +2. Minutes should not be an issue for Jackson tonight.

Ricky Rubio -$7,100 vs. PHI

Rubio is in the same boat as Reggie, just needs to play some minutes(only seeing about 30 minutes/game).

Okay, just look at Philly’s starting lineup…

PG- McConnell         Free NBA DFS Draftkings Lineup and Advice: 11/23/15

SG- Stauskas

SF- Thompson

PF- Grant

C- Okafor

If you can list off where Hollis Thompson, T.J. McConnell, or Jerami Grant went to college, you deserve to own a sizable share of stock in the 76ers organization. Four out of those five players wouldn’t see the floor if they played for the Spurs or the Warriors. Okafor is the only legitimate starter in their starting five. The Sixers have a chance to be historically terrible, especially if they keep playing Noel off the bench. It is clearly another rebuilding year for Sam Hinkie and the abysmal Sixers. Check out Rubio’s numbers against bad defenses. He dropped 55.5 DK points on the Lakers and 43 against the Magic in his first game back from injury. Rubio plays especially well against terrible teams, and nobody is worse than the 76ers. Look for Rubio to have a career night.

“The Sleeper Pick”- Trey Burke

Shooting Guards

Dion Waiters- $4,400 @ UTA

I’ve been down the Dion Waiters path before and it hasn’t been pretty, but that’s how bad the shooting guard situation is in tonight’s seven game slate. Waiter’s was the only name that stuck out tonight and the only reason is because of his cheap price. With Durant out, Westbrook and Waiters are the main benefactors, both of them have played well since KD has been out. If you are too skittish to play Waiters tomorrow, Rodney Hood is only $600 more.

“The Sleeper Pick”-J.R. Smith

Small Forwards

Robert Covington-$4,400 @MIN

Tonight, it may simply be no Covington, no money. Besides Hassan Whiteside and Reggie Jackson, Covington was probably the #1 sleeper in fantasy last year. I jumped on the Covington train early last year and never looked back. Yes, the Sixers are bad, but Covington might be one of two or three current players that Philly will still have on their roster in two years. Covington was injured to start the year, but now his minutes are starting to climb. Last game, he put up 35.5 DK points and was in the game for 32 minutes. Covington is still so cheap and will get a good chunk of minutes tonight as he takes on the Wolves, he is my favorite play tonight.

“The Sleeper Pick”- Jerami Grant

Power Forwards

Kristaps Porzingas- $6,700 @MIA

Do you guys remember when this guy was booed at the draft this summer? This kid is only 20 years old and he dropped 24, 14, and 7 blocks against Houston! At this point in time and especially with the difference in contracts, Porzingas is a much bigger asset to the Knicks than Melo. It isn’t even close actually. Porzingas stuffs the stat sheet with rebounds, blocks, and can hit the 3! Porzingas is the real deal, Chris Bosh can’t defend him, and Porzingas will vacuum up all the boards. No way he doesn’t get a double-double tonight against the Heat.

Jabari Parker-$4,200 vs. DET

I was really saddened to see Jabari’s season and development get cut short last year due to torn ACL. He could have given Wiggins a run for his money in the Rookie of the Year discussion too. He played over 30 minutes twice in his last three, and probably would have played more than 21 minutes last game, but it was a blowout. Detroit is gonna struggle with that 21st century lineup the Bucks have with Jabari as the stretch four. Parker is only $4,200 on Draftkings which is a steal, he was the 2nd overall pick and is gonna play about 32 minutes tonight, what’s not to like?

“The Sleeper Pick”- Tristan Thompson(Mozgov is out)

Centers

Greg Monroe $7,200 vs. DET

Anyone notice a trend here? I really like this Detroit-Milwaukee game for fantasy. Both teams are gonna try and prove they are the up and coming team in the East and the spread only has Milwaukee winning by 2 points. Greg Monroe faces his former team in his old arena on Monday. Why do I love Monroe tonight, you ask? He is just $7,200! That is the lowest his price has been all year by about $800 on DK. I know, I know he has to match up with Drummond, but don’t worry, Monroe will get his numbers against the Pistons who give up the 10th most fantasy points to opposing centers.
