Free NBA DFS DraftKings Lineup Help and Advice 2/10/16
Nothing better than talking some NBA hoops on a Wednesday! Check out the lineup from our last article:
We got 12 games on the slate tonight, let’s check it out!
Point Guards
Mike Conley $6,300 @ BKN
If you didn’t catch the news, Marc Gasol is going to be out for a while after breaking his right foot on Monday against the Blazers. This is a huge blow for the Grizzlies who are shockingly the 5th seed in the Western conference right now. Last game Gasol went down in the first quarter, so Conley and Randolph were asked to pick up the slack, as the two combined for 37 shot attempts! The Nets have really been struggling with Larkin and Sloan at point guard, especially on the defensive end, and the last time Conley faced the Nets, he ended with 20 and 8.
Ish Smith $7,100 vs. SAC
There are two eras in 76ers basketball: pre-Ish Smith and post-Ish Smith. Ish has been a revelation for the Sixers since coming over from New Orleans. He’s not afraid to take matters into his own hands, as he’s averaging 24.5 field goal attempts/game over his last two games. The Kings haven given up 118.1 PPG over their last 10 games, and haven’t given up less than 104 points over that span! The Kings play at such a fast pace on offense that they can’t help but give up 100+ PPG on defense, which can explain why the Kings give up the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing point guards.
Sneaky GPP play – Elfrid Payton
Shooting Guards
Archie Goodwin $6,100 vs. GS
After watching him at Kentucky, still can’t figure out why Goodwin fell to the 29th pick in the 2013 draft. Goodwin plays like “Baby Westbrook” out there, stuffing the stat sheet and throwing down vicious dunks on anyone who gets in his way. The Suns are taking on the Warriors tonight, and yes the game will most likely be a blowout, but the Suns have nobody at the point guard spot to play minutes besides Archie. Like the Kings, the Warriors give up a lot of points on defense because they play at such a fast pace, which explains why a 47-4 team gives up the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards. Goodwin is averaging 39.4 minutes/game over his last five games and should see around 40 again tonight against Golden State.

Kyle Korver $4,200 @ CHI (Revenge game)
The Bulls are a lot less intimidating without Jimmy Butler, especially on the defensive end of the floor. The Bulls have lost 3 of the last 4 games and are dealing with a plethora of injuries as well. Korver has been playing a ton of minutes lately and is starting to hit 3s like his usual self( has hit 12 of his las 24 from beyond the arc). Korver hasn’t been getting a lot of looks this year, so not really a great cash game play. We’ll see if Korver can keep up his solid play as of late.
Sneaky GPP Play- Nik Stauskus
Small Forwards
Marcus Morris $5,300 vs. DEN
Ersan Ilyasova is doubtful for tonight’s game against the Nuggets, which means an uptick in minutes for Stanley Johnson and Marcus Morris. Morris has proven to be a great find for the Pistons so far, as he’s averaging 13.7 PPG, 5.1, and 2.3 APG, and 1 steal on the season. Marcus hasn’t dipped below 27 DK points in any of his last 4 games, as Detroit fights for a playoff spot for the first time in years. The O/U is 208 combined points, which seems a bit high, but there should be very little defense from both teams in this contest and Morris had 37 in his last game with Ersan in the lineup.
Sneaky GPP Play- Omri Casspi
Power Forwards
Zach Randolph $6,500 @ BKN
With Gasol out, chalk up another double-double for Z-Bo tonight in Brooklyn. Randolph has been crushing value over his past few games and has his best match-up of the season tonight against the Nets. Randolph is averaging 20 shots/game over his last 2 contests, which is incredible for a big man. The Nets struggle defensively at all positions, but especially in the paint, as they give up the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. The Grizzlies are going to need every win they can get until Gasol recovers, expect big performances from Conley, Randolph, and maybe even Jeff Green.
Nerlens Noel $6,500 vs. SAC
Every single box score for Noel looks like this: 12 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, 2 steals. Noel is a defensive nightmare for opposing power forwards, no matter who it is. Noel cares more on the defensive end of the floor than he does on the offensive end, which is extremely rare for a player. Nerlens is averaging 34 DK points/game over his last 4 contests and he’s playing Sacramento who haven’t stopped a team from scoring less than 104 points in any of their past 9 games. The O/U is 218 points, which is the highest on the slate, which means more possessions and opportunities for blocks, steals, and points for Nerlens.
(Last game Noel only made 2 shots, but still managed to put up 33.75 DK points)
Sneaky GPP play- Ed Davis
Centers
DeAndre Jordan $7,900 @ BOS
All of Blake Griffin’s potential rebounds and dunks are going straight into DeAndre’s pocket. Over Jordan’s last 10 games, he’s averaging 13.6 PPG, 17.6 RPG, and shooting almost 70% from the field! The “Hack-a-Dré” strategy is awesome from a fantasy perspective, because 1.) It stops the clock which means more opportunity for points 2.) Jordan usually makes 1 of the 2 free throws. Boston’s defense inside(Tyler Zeller, Kelly Olynyk, Sullinger) is not built to stop the 7’1″ DeAndre Jordan.
Sneaky GPP play- Alex Len
