Free MLB DFS DraftKings Lineup Help and Advice 4/12

Happy Tuesday everyone! Cashing in MLB is so much easier than NBA, everyone’s an expert when it comes to NBA, with everybody’s floor being zero in baseball, it really weeds out the people who do their homework and those who don’t.

Pitching

mlb dfs lineup 4/12

Noah Syndergaard $10,400 vs. MIA

Noah Syndergaard had an excellent outing in his first start of the season against the World Series Champion Royals. Syndergaard allowed only 3 hits, striking out 9 batters in just 6 innings, and grabbing his 1st win of the season. This game should be a low-scoring, pitcher’s duel between Fernandez and Syndergaard, I’m trying to find a way to fit both arms in my lineup, but with Coors in play tonight it’s no easy task. It’s best to have exposure to both pitchers as the Mets and Marlins have hit just 4 home runs combined on the young season.

Hector Santiago $6,900 @ OAK

Santiago was a breath of fresh air for the dwindled Angel’s pitching staff last week against the Ranger’s, as he gave up just 4 hits in 6 innings, while striking out 7. Oakland’s offense has really struggled this season, as they are averaging just 3 runs/game this year. Nick Tropeano was able to hold them to just one run last night in a 4-1 win in Oakland, so at just $6,900 tonight, Santiago should be a steal against the A’s who are hitting just .221 as a team so far this season.

Sneaky GPP Play: Wade Miley

Lineup

Xander Bogaerts $4,200 vs. BAL

Everyone will be on a Coor’s stack for cash games, but really liking a Red Sox stack as a GPP pivot. The Red Sox are taking on Mike Wright today in his first start of the season. Wright ended last season with a 6.04 ERA and gave up an eye-popping 9 home runs in just 44 innings pitched. The Red Sox’s pitching has been lackluster this year, but their offense has been excellent as their team OBP is just short of .350. The Red Sox lineups is stacked with tons of run potential and they are all relatively cheap tonight compared to Coor’s.

David Ortiz $4,800 vs. BAL

mlb dfs sleepers 4/12

Even at 40 years old Ortiz is still crushing the ball, batting .318 with two home runs and averaging nearly 13 DK points/game on the season. As a rule of thumb, always target righty/lefty matchups and no lefty has a better matchup tonight than Ortiz taking on Wright(except maybe CarGo against Samardzija) Not a big sample size, but Ortiz is 2 for 2 lifetime off of Wright with one of the hits being a long bomb.

Mike Moustakas $3,900 @ HOU

It’s best to mix in at least a couple Giants and Rockies today, but another nice pivot stack is the KC Royals taking on Mike Fiers and the Astros tonight. Fiers really struggled in his first start of the season, letting up 5 earned runs in 5 innings, and giving up 2 home runs on the day. The Royals had a lot of success against Fiers in his one start against them last year, as they recorded 10 hits in 24 at-bats with 3 walks as well. The Royals have a ton of lefties in the middle of their order, really liking a KC lefties stack against Fiers tonight.

Edwin Encarnacion $4,500 vs. NYY

Encarnacion has yet to hit a big fly yet this season, but he’s got a great opportunity to break that streak tonight against Tanaka and the Yankees. Encarnacion has had excellent success against Tanaka in his career, going 7 for 14 with a home run. Tanaka gives up a ton of home runs and with the Coor’s effect in play tonight, a Blue Jays stack should be relatively low owned. The Jays are playing at home with the short left field fence, and the Blue Jays hit a league-leading 232 home runs last year, they can put up runs(and fantasy points) in a hurry.
