NFL DFS Value Plays Week 4 | FanDuel
What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back once again with my free FanDuel NFL DFS value plays. There is plenty of value options to be found within the slate for Week 4 and we’ll discuss all of your options in this article. In order to have a successful weekend playing DFS, you must be able to find some true value plays to anchor your lineup. Anyone can pick a top guy such as Antonio Brown but the real winners do their work in the trenches.
NFL DFS FanDuel Value Plays for Week 4
Quarterbacks
Kirk Cousins (WAS) vs. CLE $7,600
Cousins hasn’t seemed like a great play this season but he’s actually been rather consistent for the Redskins. He’s managed to throw for 329+ passing yards in two of his first three games and draws a juicy matchup for this slate. So far this year, Cousins has managed to average a solid 16.95 FanDuel points per game for his owners. He’ll be facing off against the 24th ranked Cleveland pass defense, so insert him into your lineups with confidence.
Trevor Siemian (DEN) @ TB $7,400
Like Cousins, Siemian has been floating under the radar all season long. He’s actually averaged more FanDuel points than stars such as Eli Manning, Carson Palmer and Philip Rivers this year with 17.48 points per game. Siemian will be squaring off against a terrible Bucs defense, who rank 20th versus the pass in 2016. In his last game, he threw for 312 yards and four scores for the Broncos, so he’s poised for another big outing.
Running Backs
Carlos Hyde (SF) vs. DAL ($6,800)
I feel like Hyde should get a little more love than he has so far this year. I mean the guy already has two multi-touchdown games and one of those came against Seattle. So far this season, Hyde has managed to average a cool 17.33 FanDuel points per contest for his owners and should play well versus Dallas. The Cowboys do rank 10th versus the rush this year but they just don’t scare me.
Theo Riddick (DET) @ CHI ($6,600)
Yes, Dwayne Washington is going to eat into Riddick’s reps but so did Ameer Abdullah. Like Hyde, Theo has been nothing but consistent all year long, averaging a nice 14.03 FanDuel points per outing for his loyal owners. Luckily for him, Detroit will be taking on an atrocious Bears defense that ranks 30th versus the run this season. I will say one other thing that is positive about Riddick is his targets per game. This year, he has seen 5+ targets in each game and should prosper for this slate.
Wide Receivers
Emmanuel Sanders (DEN) @TB ($6,900)
I’ve been waiting patiently for Sanders to have a breakout performance in 2016 and finally saw it last weekend. He ended up catching nine passes on 13 targets for 171 yards and two scores against the Bengals. That stat line was against a decent defense, now he’ll take on a terrible one. Like I said above, Tampa Bay ranks 20th against the pass and Sanders’ 13.67 FanDuel points per game will suffice for this slate.
DailyFantasyNerd FanDuel Value Play of the Day
Jamison Crowder (WAS) vs. CLE ($6,000)

Like many other fantasy sports writers, I was skeptical about Crowder coming into the 2016 season. Well, he’s easily been the best wideout on the team and has really meshed well with Cousins. Crowder’s 12.50 FanDuel points per game are actually better than Washington’s number 1 option in DeSean Jackson’s 12.27 per outing. He has had 7+ targets and 12+ FD points in two of three games this year, so get him into your lineups.
Tight Ends
Dennis Pitta (BAL) vs. OAK ($5,400)
You can always find great value at tight end and Pitta is my favorite option for Week 4. Luckily, Baltimore has a date with a Raiders defense that ranks dead last versus the pass. Oakland has specifically been bad versus opposing tight ends over the last two years, so that’s a plus too. In two of three games this season, Pitta has been targeted 8+ times and has recorded 6+ receptions.
Coby Fleener (NO) @ SD ($5,400)
I was one of the few people who hadn’t given up on Fleener going into Week 3. Thankfully, he finally came through for me and my lineups did well with him. Fleener ended up catching eight passes on 11 targets for 109 yards and a score against Atlanta on Monday night. Yes, he does have hands of stone at times but Brees will be looking for him against his old squad. San Diego’s secondary is tough, so Brees will have to hit the tight end as much as possible to find success for Week 4.
Defense
MIN vs. NYG ($4,700)
How are the Cowboys and Bengals even on the same price level as the Vikings? Yes, Minnesota draws a tough matchup against a usually potent Giants offense but I don’t care. Just remember what the Saints defense was able to do to them a few weeks ago. The Vikings have been nothing but impressive this year, averaging an explosive 19.67 FanDuel points per game for their owners. They rank first in categories such as sacks, fumble recoveries and touchdown returns.
NE @ BUF ($4,500)
Every single year the Patriots defense is one of the most consistent ones in the league. Consistency is all you can really ask for when choosing a defense from a fantasy perspective, so why not give them a try? They’ll be facing off against a Bills offense that has been known to turn the ball over. Add in that this game is an AFC East divisional game and sign me up. I’m expecting some hard-hitting action on Sunday!
