MLB DFS Pitcher Chart & Lineup Advice – 5/25/2017

Last Updated: 5/24/2017 – 8:07 PM CT

The pitcher chart is located under my top plays!

Top Plays

Jacob deGrom

DeGrom will face the Padres in Citi Field. He owns a 32.3% strikeout percentage this season, and the Padres have the second highest strikeout percentage in the league against righties. They also have the sixth worst wRC+ against righties. DeGrom has the lowest OTT and is the largest favorite on the day. He’s priced $2,200 more than the next highest pitcher, but he’s worth the high price in cash games.

Robbie Ray

Ray is my favorite GPP option on the slate and could make a case for cash games as well. He has a 28.9% strikeout percentage and will face a Brewers team that strikes out 24.9% of the time against southpaws. The Brewers can definitely put up some runs again Ray, but the strikeout upside is immense. Ray has 22+DK points in five of his eight starts this year and he’s priced at just $8,600 on DraftKings.

Mookie Betts

Betts will face Nick Martinez in Fenway Park. Martinez has just a 12.8% strikeout rate this year and has the highest OTT against him (see pitcher chart). Betts will likely lead off, and has a great chance to get on base multiple times. With the potential to hit a home run and steal a base in this game, he makes for an interesting Arcade Mode play on DraftKings.

Tigers Hitters

The Tigers are my favorite stack of the night. They’ll face Mike Fiers who’s given up 3.64 HR/9 this year. He’s given up 14 home runs in just his past six starts. While his home run to fly ball ratio is more than double his career average, even if it regressed to his career average, he’d still give up about 1.5 HR/9. I’ll be loading up on Tigers bats tonight in both tournaments and cash games.
