MLB DFS Pitcher Chart & Lineup Advice – 6/8/2017

The pitcher chart is located under my top plays!
Top Plays
Jon Lester
Lester will face the Rockies in Wrigley Field. The Rockies are a much worse offense outside of Coors Field, and they strike out 23.4% of the time against lefties. With the game in Wrigley, we’ll have to watch the weather, but Lester looks like a solid option on Thursday.
Lance McCullers
McCullers has a 28.2% strikeout rate this season. The Royals don’t strike out a ton as a team, but McCullers has some Ks built in. The Royals are a bad offense and have the fourth worst wRC+ against righties. McCullers is the biggest favorite on the slate and has the lowest OTT (see pitcher chart). He’s expensive but seems fairly safe.
Jake Odorizzi
Odorizzi will face the White Sox in Tropicana Field. The White Sox have the second worst wRC+ against righties and have the sixth highest strikeout percentage. At just $7,900, he makes for a great SP2 on DraftKings with upside.
Anthony Rizzo/Kris Bryant
Rizzo and Bryant will face Tyler Chatwood in Wrigley Field. There isn’t a run total for the Cubs yet, but I assume it will be high. Bryant and Rizzo both have a top-5 home run projection on the slate, making them solid cash game and GPP options. Both are priced under $5,000 on DraftKings, making it possible to fit them into the same lineup.
Trea Turner/Bryce Harper
The Nationals will face Alec Asher at home. They are priced up a bit at $5,400 each on DraftKings, but I currently have both in my cash game lineup. The Nationals are another team who don’t have a team run total posted, but I have them projected for the highest total on the slate.
Matt Adams
Adams will face Ben Lively in SunTrust Park. He’s been solid since joining the Braves and is underpriced for his matchup and park. He’ll have the platoon advantage against Lively, and the Braves have a high team run total. Adams is another player who has a high home run projection, eight highest on the main slate. At just $3,900, he is a solid outfield value.
