MLB DFS Pitcher Chart & Lineup Advice – 9/11/2017

The pitcher chart is located under my top plays!
Top Plays
Carlos Carrasco
Carrasco will face the Tigers in Progressive Field. Carrasco is the largest favorite on the slate, and it’s not close. He has the lowest OTT and also owns the highest strikeout rate on the slate. The Tigers offense is watered down at this point in the year after losing some of their best bats to trades. Carrasco is the top option on the slate, and should be worth paying for in cash games.
Zack Greinke
Greinke faces the Rockies in Chase Field. He’s a heavy favorite and faces a Rockies team taking a park downgrade. The Rockies strike out 23% of the time against righties, and rank 3rd to last in wRC+. Greinke is a great tournament pivot from Carrasco and is in consideration for cash games since he’s $1,400 cheaper. Lineups and umpires could determine whether I pay for Carrasco or Greinke, but I’m learning toward Carrasco at this point.
Brandon Woodruff
Woodruff faces the Pirates in Miller Park. It’s not a great matchup in terms of strikeout upside, but the Pirates have a team run total of only 4, and Woodruff has been solid so far this year. I’m not sure if he’s safe enough for cash games, but the price is very intriguing in tournaments.
Hitters
Here are some hitters I’ll likely have at least 50% exposure to.
Nelson Cruz
Paul Goldschmidt
Starling Marte
Andrew McCutchen
Chris Ianetta
Top Tournament Plays
J.D. Martinez
Josh Donaldson
Manny Machado
Edwin Encarnacion
