Fantasy Football Week 4 Streamers: QB, TE, Team Defense
Another NFL week, and a flip of the calendar for Sunday’s action, is upon us. Without further ado, here are your fantasy football streamers at quarterback, tight end and team defense for Week 4.
Quarterback: Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills at Atlanta Falcons
In a tough matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 3, Taylor was efficient (20-for-26 for 213 yards, no turnovers) with two passing touchdowns and 13 rushing yards. He has yet to reach 30 pass attempts in a game this season, but he has multiple passing touchdowns in two of three games. while averaging a shade over 35 rushing yards per game.
The Bills will travel to take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4, and it’s shaping up to be a favorable matchup for Taylor. In terms of pure fantasy points the Falcons are in the middle of the pack thus far (15.8 per game, ESPN scoring). But they have the most completions (84) and pass attempts against (135), and no quarterback has had less than 40 pass attempts in a game.
The Falcons have a good chance to build a lead on Sunday, so Taylor is set up to air it out plenty. Based on that volume, and some rushing yardage sprinkled in, don’t overlook the fantasy upside here.

Others To Consider: Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams at Dallas Cowboys; Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans; Jay Cutler, Miami Dolphins vs. New Orleans Saints (London), Brian Hoyer, San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals, Trevor Siemian, Denver Broncos vs. Oakland Raiders
Tight End: Jared Cook, Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos
The Raiders didn’t have much going offensively in Week 3 against the Washington Redskins, but Cook did have four catches (on six targets) for 43 yards and a touchdown. More importantly, he was removed from the injury report after a shoulder injury had limited him in practice.
Cook’s Week 4 matchup does not look great on the surface. But the Denver Broncos have allowed 17 receptions for 167 yards to opposing tight ends over their last two games, while allowing a touchdown to the position in both games. As the “No Fly Zone” has become just that for opposing wide receivers, tight ends have found some room to operate against the Broncos.
If pass protection is an issue for the Raiders on the road again on Sunday, Derek Carr should be looking Cook’s way often. That volume, and the possibility of a big play or two, makes Cook my top streaming tight end this week.

The Jaguars’ defense has been up and down through three weeks. They’ve allowed exactly seven points and forced multiple turnovers in two of three games (Week 1-Houston Texans, Week 3-Baltimore Ravens), with 37 points allowed to the Tennessee Titans in Week 2.
Week 4 brings a good chance at an up week again, against the New York Jets. The Jets scored 20 points with only one turnover and two sacks allowed last week against the Miami Dolphins, which qualifies as a best-case scenario. The Jaguars have just three sacks over their last two games, after 10 sacks in Week 1, but somewhere toward the high end of that spectrum seems likely on Sunday.
Fantasy owners seem to be on the bandwagon of Jacksonville’s defense, at least in ESPN leagues. But the unit is worth checking on as a streamer this week, with few great options out there.
