QUARTERBACKS

START

Teddy BridgewaterVikings

The 49ers defense is a far cry from what it used to be. His ability to make time in the pocket should give this 49ers lack luster pass rush headaches. This is looking like a multi touchdown game.

Ryan TannehillDolphins

The matchup doesn’t get better than this. The Redskins are a mess, they lack the personnel in the secondary to cover these WRs. They also lack the pressure upfront, this should be a big day for Ryan Tannehill

SIT

Philip RiversChargers

While I like him as a starter this year, this is not one of the weeks to start him. The Lions are going to get after the QB and the Chargers don’t take enough big play chances to make them pay. Im expecting to see the offensive line picking Rivers up quite often

Colin Kaepernick49ers

This is going to be a bad week for him. They should be trailing early which will limit the running game. This will force him into passing situations, usually, if you can put him in an uncomfortable position, he becomes a turnover machine.

RUNNING BACKS

START

James WhitePatriots

With the suspension to Blount the pats will be looking for someone to run in a good matchup against the Steelers. James White will get an opportunity and I’m thinking this is one of the few weeks early in the season where White owners can see production.

Giovani BernardBengals

While the Raiders are an all around improving team. They will have trouble covering the quick hitting passing plays this season. Gio should be able to find soft spots in the defense and make some big plays.

SIT

Frank GoreColts

This is a good week to let him sit on your bench. The Bills front 4 isn’t to be messed with. I would expect the holes to me non-existent and Gore to spend most of the afternoon bottled up.

Alfred MorrisRedskins

The Dolphins are going to be a hard outing all season long for RBs. The Redskins as usual are a mess. This is a bad combination, sit him.

WIDE RECEIVERS

START

Golden TateLions

The Chargers secondary is going to be one of the softer secondaries in the league this year. They will be concentrating all their efforts on stopping Megatron. I expect Golden Tate to get get a lot of looks in soft coverage.

Vincent JacksonBuccaneers

This is another soft secondary that we should be picking on week in and week out. They aren’t capable of covering a big target like Jackson. He has also built a nice rapport with Winston.

SIT

Amari CooperRaiders

While I love Cooper this year, this is going to a be a tough matchup for him. Waiting to welcome him to the NFL is Leon Hall. He will be on Cooper all day. Tough challenge for a rookie.

Brandin CooksSaints

The Cardinals defense has gotten weaker thats for sure. This team’s strength on defense, is still it’s secondary. They still have Patrick Peterson and they will still be giving WRs headaches. I’m expecting Cooks to have one of his tougher games of the year.

TIGHT ENDS

START

Eric EbronLions

Eric Ebron gets a good matchup this week, this secondary for the Chargers is questionable at best. They will be focused on the WRs and should leave the seam open for him.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins– Buccaneers

The Titans defense should be laughable to say the least this year. He has gotten some looks from Winston in the preseason so the potential for a nice opening week is there.

SIT

Ladarius GreenChargers

He gets to open up the season as the starting TE for the Chargers. He may have some trouble getting room as they get the Lions to start the season.

Vernon Davis49ers

I’m expecting him to have a better year than he had last year. The Vikings defense is much improved. I wouldn’t be expecting big numbers to start the season.
