Quarterback

Ryan Mallet-Houston

He threw the ball 58 times last week. I don’t care who your QB is, if he throws the ball close to 60 times in a game he is going to come away with points. Mallet’s 58 pass effort, only equated to just under 20 points. Definitely disappointing.

If you’re a guy desperate for a QB and Arian Foster doesn’t play, then plug
Mallet in and hope he gets a ton of volume once again. Plus this Bucs defense has a way of making QBs look good.

Derek Carr– Oakland

This is another good play this week. He is coming off an upset of the Ravens. The Browns defense is susceptible to the deep pass, I would expect him to be sending Cooper and Crabtree deep most of the day. He should come away with good numbers this week.

Furthermore, Amari Cooper seems to be coming on. He is an outstanding talent and once you get him going, he can make any QB more dangerous.

Tight end

C.J Fiedorowicz-Houston

This is a solid matchup for him and he is one of the few Texans who doesn’t need Foster to miss another week to benefit from a good matchup.

They will look to the TE no matter who their RB Is. Against this Bucs defense I would say he has a pretty good chance to get a TD.

Jared Cook-S.T Louis

He has been a decent play to start the year. Nothing to write home about, but, definitely suitable for a weekly stream.

This week he gets a Steelers defense that has numerous problems in the secondary. He may not get you numbers early in this game, but as the game goes on I would expect him to compile targets as the Rams race to keep up with the Steelers. Foles is going to have to take some deep shots against this defense, eventually opening up the underneath routes for Cook.

Richard Rodgers-Green Bay

I know the Chiefs are a good defense and no, I really don’t care. The bottom line is, if Lacy doesn’t play, the packers are going to throw more, which raises his chances at getting targets.

More important, the Chiefs are gonna be doing everything in their power to take away Aaron Rodgers WRs, thereby leaving more room for Richard Rodgers to operate.

Defense

Atlanta Falcons

There are not a lot of good streaming defenses this week as the weaker offenses are playing the weaker defenses in most cases.
However, this is a good stream, the Cowboys will be without Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. It’s doesn’t matter if the starting QB for the Cowboys is Weeden or Cassel the opportunity for turnovers will be there.
