Pitcher Lock
Madison Bumgarner (SFG) $9,200 vs SDP
San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner has yet to pick up a win, but he has only given up two runs in his two starts. The Padres will be on a short turn around flight which could help Bumgarner out a little as well. He has a 9.00 K/9 and should be able to rack up strikeouts at the bottom of the Padres order. There are a few other options available, but Bumgarner has one of the easier matchups while still allowing enough salary to build around.
Infielder Lock
(1B) Paul Goldschmidt (STL) $4,200 vs LOS
The St. Louis Cardinals are going to have to get the bats going early against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Paul Goldschmidt will be the man for the job. Players around him have been hitting well, so he should have runners on base and he will likely be on base a few times as well. He has done well against Hyun-Jin Ryu in the past. He has 26 at-bats in which he has 11 hits, three home runs, and nine RBI.
(1B) Daniel Vogelbach (SEA) $3,500 @ KANĀ
Daniel Vogelbach is a cheaper option at first base with great upside if you want to save some money and pay up for an elite outfielder. He has an outstanding .593 wOBA. Anyone in the Seattle Mariners lineup is capable of putting up huge numbers. He has scored over 20 fantasy points in each of his last three games. He should have a good chance of high production against Homer Bailey. His ownership may be a little high, but for the price he’s hard to pass on.
Infielder Value Play
(2B) Kolten Wong (STL) $3,500 vs LOS
St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong is looking really comfortable at the plate. He has been in control, hitting for both power and contact. He has a .560 wOBA with three homeruns. He has seven runs and RBI along with two stolen bases. He’s averaging 17.29 fantasy points per game. Although Ryu is a lefty, which could give Wong lower ownership, he has still fared well against them. The Cardinals may need to be aggressive, so I like the chances of Wong stealing a base or two.
Outfielder Lock
Cody Bellinger (LOS) $4,700 @ STL
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger has been way too good not to be in your lineup. His matchup against Miles Mikolas isn’t exactly perfect, but Mikolas has struggled in both of his starts so far this season. With the Dodgers offense clicking as it is right now Bellinger will have plenty of opportunity for RBI and runs. He already has 17 and 13 respectively. He has also added six home runs and a stolen base. Taking him will constrict your budget, but if you take any pitcher under $9,000 he must be in your lineup.
Outfielder Value Play
Trey Mancini (BAL) $3,600 vs OAK

Trey Mancini has relatively good value in the outfield for his consistency. Mancini is primarily a cash play, but could be used in GPP contests if you want to fade the top names in the outfield. Mancini already has four home runs, eight runs and nine RBI. He has a .474 wOBA in the early going.
