The top stacks to consider in DFS- NFL Week 4

Welcome to the weekly stack article for NFL on DraftKings. The concept behind stacking is simple; the players benefit from each other, compounding the amount of points derived from that play for your fantasy lineup. Most GPP winning lineups will incorporate a stacking methodology in their lineup. Most people think of a traditional QB-WR stack (which is certainly viable) but I will provide a few other ways to effectively stack and increase the ceiling of your team.

Please note, a ton can (and will) change between article posting and kickoff, follow me on Twitter for all my thoughts on additional value coming and going before lineups lock.

The Classic Stack: QB to pass catcher

Deshaun Watson ($6,600) to Will Fuller ($5,900) Houston Texans at Minnesota Vikings:

A get right spot for this Houston team after facing the gauntlet the first 3 weeks of the season. They finally get to play a soft defense and I think we see the Watson who is regarded as an elite QB. Monitor the injury news on Wil Fuller but if he is good to go, I am firing him up.

The Impossible Stacker: QB to RB

Jared Goff ($6,700) to Darrell Henderson ($5,800) Los Angeles Rams vs. New York Giants:

Goff was priced up, but Henderson is still too low for this matchup. The Rams should have their way with the G-Men so why not cover all our bases by grabbing the QB and RB? Only risk is if Malcolm Brown vultures carries or a TD. I expect the Rams to score 4+ TD’s on Sunday.

The Game Stack: QB to Pass Catcher, bring it back with opposing pass catcher

Ryan Fitzpatrick ($5,400) to Devante Parker ($5,400) bring it back with D.K. Metcalf ($6,800) Miami Dolphins vs. Seattle Seahawks:

This isn’t quite the SMASH game we have seen in previous weeks. The Dolphins are much more volatile of an offense, but I am willing to take some shots. I chose the cheaper option but you can obviously consider paying up for Russ and pairing him with Metcalf or Lockett.

The Correlation Stack: Starting RB and Defense/Special Teams

Jonathan Taylor ($6,600) and Colts D/ST ($3,300) Indianapolis Colts at Chicago Bears:

Let’s go back to this well again, shall we? JT failed but the Colts delivered in a big way last week. Now we get price discounts on both and they face a Bears team that should be just as soft. Don’t get it twisted, Nick Foles is not that much of an upgrade over Turd Biscuits. He is turnover prone and I expect the Colts to make him struggle in an easy victory.
