Week 11 Waiver Pickups:
WR Jakobi Meyers (NE) 48% Owned
Although Cam Newton isn’t lighting it up through the air, when he does pass the ball Jakobi Meyers is his likely target. Meyers has 37 targets over the past four games including a whopping 14 targets Week 9 against the Jets. Meyers caught 12 passes for 169 yards in that game and has scored double-digit fantasy points in each of the last 4 games. New England wants him involved in the offense, evident by drawing up a play where Meyers threw a passing touchdown last week. It’s not going to be pretty, but Meyers is getting the volume and has become Newton’s go-to receiver. – @GMenJay
WR Sammy Watkins (KC) 38% Owned
Sammy Watkins will likely return after the Week 10 bye and is he’s certainly worth the add. Watkins scored double-digit points in three of five games this season before getting hurt and was averaging six targets a game. He’s a solid WR3 as long as you keep your expectations in check. He’s the definition of a boom/bust player, but anybody getting targets on the Chiefs is worth rostering. – @GMenJay
WR Michael Pittman Jr (IND) 9% Owned

Michael Pittman Jr. (9% owned- 10-15% of FAAB) | It’s now been two weeks since Pittman has returned from an early-season IR stint and he has quickly emerged as the preferred target for Phillip Rivers. He leads the Colts in snaps (85%) and targets (15) in that span and exploded with a 7/101 line (plus a 21-yard rush) against the Titans last Thursday. The volume alone gives Pittman a nice PPR floor and I expect his role will only expand as he continues to familiarize himself with the offense. Pittman draws a tough matchup against Jaire Alexander (concussion) and GB this week but then finishes the season with the 4th easiest strength of schedule for wide-outs. – @FantasyNav
WR Jakeem Grant (MIA) 5% Owned
Jakeem Grant has emerged as Tua’s favorite Wide Receiver. The Dolphins are quietly 6-3 and while Tua himself hasn’t looked all that flashy, Grant has gotten 5 targets in back to back weeks with Miami. – @yetiexpress2
WR Josh Reynolds (LAR) 5% Owned
Josh Reynolds is apart of a very crowded offense but has received 27 targets over the last three games. It appears he may finally be emerging into the role Brandin Cooks had for a few years. Proceed with caution over the next few weeks as the number of weapons in this offense and the upcoming opponents can make him a very volatile player. Looking further ahead though, he faces off against the Jets in Week 15 and the Seahawks again in Week 16. – @shawn_sulli5
RB Salvon Ahmed (MIA) 4% Owned
Ahmed carried 21 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. He was also used in the passing game. And while it is true he benefited from the absence of Jordan Howard and Matt Brieda their return is uncertain. Still, his productivity should guarantee him playing time even if/when one or both return. – @neverenoughglt
WR Jalen Guyton (LAC) 0% Owned
Note: This is for deeper leagues. Guyton is the Chargers WR3. In that role, he has been a boom or bust fantasy guy. However, as we have seen before, Mike Williams goes down and an opportunity goes up for Guyton. He has seen at least a 67% snap share or better and is averaging over 20 yards per reception. Plus the schedule is pretty soft for the remaining season. Again, for 14+ team leagues and the fact he has gotten 6 targets last week, there may be some deep league upside here. – @ricco_3733
Others to Consider:
- TE Logan Thomas (WAS) 35% Owned
- RB La’Mical Perine (NYJ)26% Owned
- RB Rex Burkhead (NE) 24% Owned
- WR Keelan Cole (JAX) 23% Owned
- QB Jameis Winston (NO) 3% Owned
