Welcome to a special Wednesday edition of my DFS NBA column. I usually do Monday, but Yeti is in Vegas, so I’m filling in. I had an excellent Monday night column, so hopefully you made some money on it. Ironically, my column tonight has a lot of similar plays. In fact, the top three players from each position is the exact same as they were on Monday. Let’s hope to win some green and not just wear it on St. Patty’s Day…

Nothing But Net	My top plays of the night at his position.
Dunk	A Dunk is a second or third tier player with the highest upside.
Half-Court Shot	Otherwise known as a “punt play.” A Low-priced, high-upside player.
Blocked Shot	A player I’ll be avoiding. Otherwise known as “Fading.”

**Main Slate

Guards

Nothing But Net | Bradley Beal (WAS) $9,300 vs. SAC

Beal scores 54.5 DK points against the Bucks, has a great matchup against the team with the worst defensive rating in the league, and his price doesn’t go up at all? Yes. please.

Dunk | Kevin Porter Jr. (HOU) $6,800 vs. GS

It looks like a lot of the Rockets’ players will once again be unable to play tonight. I’d list all the players that are questionable or out, but it would take less time to just list who is in. Porter is in and has put up 42-plus DK points in three of the four games he has played in this season.

Half-Court Shot | Jordan Poole (GS) $3,500 @ HOU

Poole has played 20 or more minutes in his last four games after returning from the G League. I just mentioned how short-handed the Rockets will likely be in this game, so there could be some junk time minutes to be had for him.

Blocked Shot | Steph Curry (GS) $9,800 @ HOU

I don’t think this game will be close and Steph could be sitting by the fourth quarter. $9,800 is a lot to pay for a guy that may only play three quarters.

2. Russell Westbrook $10,400 vs. SAC

Forwards

Nothing But Net | Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) $11,000 @ PHI

I had him as my top play in Monday night, and I said he was going for three straight trip-dubs…well, now he is going for four straight. Ride the hot streak.

Dunk | Jaylen Brown (BOS) $7,700 @ CLE

The Cavs give up 112.8 points per 100 possessions, only seven teams give up more points. Brown just dropped 50 on Utah, the Cavs are far less formidable.

Half-Court Shot | Davis Bertans (WAS) $3,800 vs. SAC

I expect this game to be high-scoring and so does Vegas as the early o/u on this game is 245. Two teams that can’t play defense and two of the top 10 teams in pace of play — the Wizards have the fastest pace. All of this favors Bertans…and any player in this game for that matter.

Blocked Shot | Ben Simmons (PHI) $8,900 vs. MIL

This is a tough matchup for him, especially without his running mate Joel Embiid. At $8,900, Simmons has very little upside in this game.

Centers

Nothing But Net | Jonas Valanciunas (MEM) $7,600 vs. MIA

I’m just going to ride the hot hand here. It’s a tough matchup for JVal, but he did have 41 against them last season pre-Covid shut down.

Dunk | Richaun Holmes (SAC) $6,700 @ WAS

I almost put Holmes as my top play because I like him that much, but $6,700 was a bit too cheap for my top play, so here he sits as my top upside play. He has four straight double-doubles, and, in a game as high-paced and high-scoring as this one, he should have no problem hitting a fifth in a row.

Half-Court Shot | Ivica Zubac (LAC) $4,500 @ DAL

If Serge Ibaka is ruled out, Zubac makes for an excellent value. Dallas gives up the fifth most DK points to centers and Zubac just dropped 32 DK points on them in 35 minutes. If he gets 30-plus minutes with Ibaka out, he should have similar production.

Blocked Shot | Nikola Jokic (DEN) $10,800 vs. CHA

Jokic had two sub-par games against them last year, which truthfully doesn’t mean much, but at $10,800 I’d rather pay for the Greek Freak at $11,000.
