The Best SuperFlex Mock Draft Ever (Round 2)

Fresh off of my first-round rookie mock, here is the second round of my Superflex rookie mock. This round shows the depth of the wide receiver position. And exposes the lack of depth at running back. Let me know what you think.

2.01 Michael Carter, RB New York Jets

Michael Carter landed in one of the better spots for me. His draft capital did leave something to be desired, but I think his talent as the best running back on his team will have him as the starter in no time. There aren’t many RB options after the top 3 so you need to snag Carter here.

2.02 Trey Sermon, RB San Francisco 49ers

I have never been a fan of San Francisco for running backs because they use a committee/hot hand approach. It sucks for fantasy managers. That being said I think Sermon has a semi-clear path to touches and he is the 5th best option at RB and the last one I want to touch for potentially starting material.

2.03 Elijah Moore, WR New York Jets

I love this landing spot for Elijah Moore. I just love Elijah Moore. He has also seemed to be falling somewhat in my rookie drafts, but this is where I would take him. He is going to be a good WR and he will get touches in a variety of ways. Hello, Brandon Aiyuk 2.0?

2.04 Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR Detroit

This was an underrated landing spot in my opinion. Detroit’s wide receiver corp is nothing to make you shake in your boots, BUT, the Sun God could rise to the top of this group. He is currently competing against Tyrell Williams, Breshad Perriman, and Quintez Cephus. I think he could rise to be the number two target behind Hockenson on this team.

2.05 Rondale Moore, WR Arizona Cardinals

Personally, I do not love this landing spot. It feels crowded. The best way I see Rondale having fantasy value is if they get creative in using him in the run game OR if he does somehow rise to be that number two or three option.

2.06 Rashod Bateman, WR Baltimore Ravens

This pick is a steal BECAUSE Rashod is going to help Lamar improve. I am not talking as drastic as Stefon Diggs did with Josh Allen, but similar. He can play more over the middle and will not have to rely on Lamat’s deep ball accuracy as much. He should be able to get targets if he can create separation and get open for Lamar.

2.07 Dyami Brown, WR Washington Football Team

Also, not a fan of this landing spot because I am worried that Brown and Curtis Samuel will eat into each other’s target share. However, Washington actually has a capable quarterback for once, so he could potentially support three fantasy-relevant wide receivers.

2.08 Amari Rodgers, WR Green Bay Packers

THANK GOD THE PACKERS SPENT DRAFT CAPITAL ON A WIDE RECEIVER NOW THEY JUST NEED TO TRADE FOR ODELL OR JUJU SMITH-SCHUSTER.

2.09 Terrance Marshall, WR Carolina Panthers

Not a fan of this landing spot, but I think it actually has a lot of upside after this year. DJ Moore and Robby Anderson should be the 1-2 punch, but I believe one or both is Free Agent after this season. If Marshall can learn how to play big like his frame he can easily become an alpha, but I think next year will be the earliest that could happen.

2.10 Pat Freiermuth, TE Pittsburgh Steelers

He will earn snaps as a blocker because that is what Pittsburgh needs, but because of this, I think he will have some fantasy relevance. He is a good all-around tight end, but depending on how fast he develops you might have to be a little patient.

2.11 Kadarius Toney, WR New York Giants

Toney has first-round draft capital. If you can get him here or later take him. The Giants clearly believe in him and what he can be, so taking him late like this is stealing, BUT I personally don’t trust the talent all that much.

2.12 Chuba Hubbard, RB Carolina Panthers

Next best option at RB potentially. Hopefully, he will get snaps to spell Christian McCafferey so that he remains healthy as well. Also has the potential as a homerun hitter with his world-class speed.

Be on the lookout for round three soon!
