The Slowest Mock Ever

Hope you enjoy the final round of my Superflex rookie mock draft! If you missed it, click here for round 1.

3.01 Tylan Wallace WR Baltimore Ravens

Wallace is someone that impressed me through film study. Despite his smaller build relative to other receivers, he is good at winning contested catches and jump balls. I think he will help improve the Ravens receiving corp and potentially help Lamar improve by giving him more options.

NFL Draft Running Backs: Kenneth Gainwell, Memphis - Sports Illustrated Green Bay Packers News, Analysis and More

3.02 Kenneth Gainwell RB Philadelphia Eagles

Gainwell was my pre-draft RB3. I loved him as a player and his shiftiness. But, he ended up in what I believe to be a not ideal landing spot. Sanders will be the lead back and unless he gets injured I don’t see a clear path to touches for him. However, he is worth a dart throw at this position.

3.03 Rhamondre Stevenson, RB New England Patriots

Can anybody say Legarrette Blount 2.0? Rhamondre will be a bruising running back that will probably give you a game or two of fantasy relevance. He is the type back that Bellichick likes, but he is also a rookie running back, so let’s see how this goes.

3.04 Nico Collins, WR Houston Texans

Nico Collins could very easily be a value like his former college teammate Donovan Peoples-Jones was. He is competing with Brandin Cooks for targets and that is about it. His style of receiving should offer a variety for whoever the QB is that plays for the Texans.

3.05 Kyle Trask QB Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I love this landing spot for Trask. He can learn from Brady(who can retire any day now, please and thank you), and not have to be thrown into the fire to learn the NFL. I would scoop him up in Dynasty wherever you can.

3.06 Dwayne Eskridge WR Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks will remain a run-heavy offense, but they do not have a true third option for receiving. I think it will be split this year between Gerald Everett and Eskridge. I think Eskridge is worth the dart throw at this point in your draft and has decent draft capital to support the theory he will be involved.

3.07 Kellen Mond QB Minnesota Vikings

I liked Mond as a prospect. He isn’t a sexy name and doesn’t have superior stats or film. I think he does have the leadership qualities to bring a winning culture to a team. If Kirk fails to succeed early, I think we could see Mond sooner than most expect.

3.08 Anthony Schwartz WR Cleveland Browns

I LOVE THIS PICK!!! It is going to open the Browns offense up from a real football standpoint SOOO much. Schwartz, even with his blazing speed may be better for real football than he is for fantasy, but he will always have touchdown upside due to his speed. War Damn Eagle and Go Browns!

3.09 Hunter Long TE Miami Dolphins

My Mike Gesicki shares HATE this pick. BUT, the draft capital they spent on Long is undeniable. I think he is well worth the dart throw as the TE3 of this class.

3.10 Josh Palmer WR LA Chargers

The Chargers don’t have a true WR2. They have some guys with potential, including Palmer! He could very easily end up in this role and be 3rd in targets behind Allen and Ekeler.

3.11 Tutu Atwell WR LA Rams

The draft capital spent on him is CONFUSING!!! He is also extremely skinny weighing in at 148 lbs. He is going to have to bulk up or try to rely on pure speed to be a threat. I probably won’t be drafting him, but this is around where I would take him.

3.12 Davis Mills QB HOU

This could be the steal of your draft. Houston has not settled ANYTHING with Deshaun Watson. They drafted Mills relatively early enough. He could easily fall into a starting position. ANd at 3.12 I am willing to take a shot on that upside.
