Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders
Derek Carr and the undefeated Raiders are the talk of the town after two weeks. The Raiders are looking hot and get a favorable matchup against a Dolphins team without Tua. Carr has been airing it out this season tossing for 817 yards, 4 TD, and 1 INT while completing 62/93 passes.
Brissett has taken the mantle for Tua, who has been ruled out, did not fair too well against the Bills defense. He tossed for 169 yards, 0 TD, and 1 INT completing just 24/40 of his passes. Their defense has been middle of the pack which should be enough to contain Brissett from airing it out all game.
The Raiders get the advantage on offense and defense. The Raiders have 5 receivers with 7 or more targets which vastly makes up for their lackluster rush attack. If the Bills can take advantage of the Dolphins defense, Carr should throw up a few touchdowns.
Vegas has given the Raiders a line of -4.0 to cover the spread. I’m a little surprised the line isn’t higher given the Raiders have taken down the Steelers and Ravens this year. That being said, Raiders -4.0 is a go.
New Orleans Saints at New England Patriots
Mac Jones has shown that he has what it takes to lead a franchise after his first two starts and is currently the favorite to win ROY. He still has a long way to go before he turns this team into a championship caliber team. Jones has tossed for 467 yards, 1 TD, and 0 INT while completing 51/69 passes. Some solid numbers but needs to pump those rookie numbers up.
Since his eye surgery, it appears Winston can see well enough to to throw for more touchdowns than picks as he takes over for Brees. He has tossed for 259 yards, 5 TD, and 2 INT while completing 25/42 passes. He has shown sign of improvement which is great.
The offensive advantage goes to the Saints despite Michael Thomas in Covid protocol. They still have the dual threat Alvin Kamara. Jones still seems hesitant to let it rip with sub par receivers to avoid mistakes and that is costing him touchdowns. Winston, on the other hand, has half the amount of yards with 5 TD. The Patriots are running the ball more than usual with Harris who has 39 carries for 162 yards and 1 TD.
The Patriots are the favorites to win and the -3.0 to cover. This is going to be a close game with either team easily capable of winning this game. It’s a toss up, which is why the Saints +3.0 is the play with Saints ML favorable.
Arizona Cardinals at Jacksonville Jaguars

The uneducated fans in the league are already calling Trevor Lawerence a bust. Lawerence was given a really bad team with a new coach who has to adjust to the big time. Despite these set backs, he has tossed for 450 yards, 4 TD, and 5 INT while going 42/84 in passing. Meyer is certainly letting him air it out which means he still has confidence.
On the flip side, Kyler Murray is in the mix for MVP as his high powered offensive play has catapulted his team to contender level. Murray has completed a whopping 50 out of his 68 pass attempts for 7 TD, 3 INT for 689 yards. Jacksonville better get the bomb shelters ready for the air assault.

Cardinals are the heavy -7.5 favorite to win for obvious reasons. This spread, like the Raiders, seems very low. Take it and relax.
