Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers

Raiders are coming in hot into Monday Night with an undefeated record and sitting on top of the AFC West. A spot that Chiefs have occupied in the past and many expected them to occupy once again. Derek Carr has declared dog fight and the AFC West is going to be heated all season long. Care has tossed 1203 yards, 6 TD, and 2 INT while completing 88/136 of his passes.

Speaking of the Chiefs not occupying the number 1 spot in the AFC West, the Chargers are directly responsible for outgunning them last week for the win. As Herbert plays more games, it’s clear he has a bright future. Herbert is in for another airshow and he’s more than ready. Herbert has tossed for 956 yards, 6 TD, and 3 INTs completing 88/126 of his passes.

These teams are both offensively competent so it all comes down to defense. This advantage goes to the Raiders but only slightly. This is going to be a close game but the Raiders can get enough pressure to get the extra stop or two on third down.

The Chargers are the -3.0 favorite to cover the spread. These divisional matchups are tricky and became even more tricky on Monday night. I tend to favor close games in prime time during divisional matchups. The Raiders can beat the Chargers but also vice versa. Raiders +3.0 is the play.
