The Only Waiver Article You Need for Week 11 (2021)

Week 10 is in the books and it’s getting close to the time of year when you’re thinking Fantasy Playoffs. The GoingFor2 team comes through with “The Only Waiver Article You Need for Week 11.”

TE Dan Arnold (JAX) 37% Rostered

Other than the fact that this week was especially a “TE-pocalypse,” Dan Arnold continues to show reliability, especially in PPR and TE Premium leagues. Somehow still mostly available, Arnold becomes a must-add. He’s received a whopping 24 targets the last three weeks, leading to a 17/195 stat line. If he can start finding the end zone, Dan Arnold would easily be a top 5 tight end. Make him your main add this week at the most scarce position. Jarred Riccadonna @ricco_3733

WR Darnell Mooney (CHI) 56%

Still owned in only 56 percent of Sleeper redraft leagues, Mooney needs to be on your roster. Coming off of a week ten bye, some fantasy owners may have overlooked his week nine performance. All Mooney did was catch three passes(on six targets) for 41 yards and a touchdown, while adding a 15-yard rushing touchdown.

This performance was Mooney’s best PPR scoring performance of the season(20.6). That being said, he has now recorded four weeks(out of a possible six) with 12.4 fantasy points or more, since Justin Fields took over as the Bears’ starting Quarterback in week four. As Fields continues to grow within his role, look for these types of performances to become even more consistent. Mooney is my top WR waiver wire add this week and should produce weekly WR3/flex type numbers for the rest of the season. Brian Craighead @vandygrad92

QB Cam Newton (CAR) 26%

I know you’re thinking about it. The what-if. The Superman resurrection. Is Cam really back? Despite his two scores, one passing and one rushing touchdown, the newest Panther only participated in nine plays in their win against the Cardinals. However, head coach Matt Rhule told the media Monday that it was his intention to get Newton ready to start Week 11. Even if he isn’t completely immersed in the offensive scheme, it seems likely that he will take the majority of quarterback snaps next week.

No one could forget Newton’s iconic 2015 success as well as his bizarre fall from grace thereafter. His abysmal year with New England in 2020 still looms over hopes of fantasy relevance. Starting 15 games for the Patriots, he only had four games with over 200 passing yards and actually posted two contests with under 100 passing yards. Newton posted eight touchdowns and ten interceptions on the year. Oh, but those touchdowns and that energy Sunday sure are tempting. And so is Newton’s upcoming schedule. Over the next three weeks, Carolina faces Washington, Miami, and Atlanta; all teams that rank in the top ten in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks this season. Cecily Riddell @MrsTeamRiddell

RB Rhamondre Stevenson (NE) 39%

Stevenson looked fantastic touching the ball 20 times for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. He also caught 4 passes as well, much of this add has to do with the status of Damian Harris, who should be back next week, however, this is definitely a good spot to stash an elite-level running back. RB D’Onta Foreman (TEN) 4%

When Derrick Henry was injured, all eyes turned to the Tennessee Titans running back depth chart for a viable replacement. The Titans signed Adrian Peterson and D’Onta Foreman to run alongside Jeremy McNichols. A few weeks later, a committee has emerged. However, in Week 10 Foreman stood out. Foreman led all Titans running backs in snaps, carries, and receptions. He had 78 all-purpose yards including 48 on a pair of receptions. Furthermore, Foreman looks like the better overall back.

Going forward Foreman may be the best fantasy option among the Titans’ running backs. Additionally, there is a chance Foreman’s role continues to grow. The upside of a solid role in a rushing attack like the Titans is appealing. Thus, Foreman is a worthy addition for running back needy teams or teams in deeper leagues. Jay Christensen @JayC_DFF

RB Jordan Howard (PHI) 46%

I don’t like it… but the production is hard to ignore. Since being resigned with the Eagles, Howard has gotten at least 12 rushes in each game he has played. This is for a team that has recently shifted into a run-heavy offense. Over the last 3 weeks, here are Philly’s percentage of plays that are runs: 74%, 68%, 63%. Yes, he is sharing snaps and carries with Boston Scott, but Jordan is the goal-line RB. He is a huge part of the reason that the Eagles are averaging over 32 points per game since he has been back. He offers literally nothing as a pass-catcher but his production of at least 80 rushing yards or a touchdown is hard to ignore. Kyle Bazin @KyleTheCommish
