MLB DFS Pitcher Chart & Lineup Advice – 6/20/2017

The pitcher chart is located under my top plays!
Top Plays
Chris Sale
Chris Sale will face the Royals in Kauffman Stadium. The Royals are a team that doesn’t strike out much, ranking just 24th in the league in strikeout percentage against lefties. Fortunately for Sale, the Royals have the fifth worst wRC+ against lefties and Sale has built-in strikeouts. Sale is the safest pitcher on the slate and also has the most upside. He’ll be locked into my cash game lineups and strongly considered in tournaments as the next best pitcher projects for about seven fewer points than Sale.
Amir Garrett
There is very little safety in playing Garrett in this matchup. His scores this season range from -15.7 to 31 DK points. There is upside in this matchup since the Rays strike out 27% of the time against lefties, and Garrett is cheap at just $5,400 on DraftKings. As of now, I’m taking the risk and Garrett is my cash game SP2 on DraftKings so I can fit in some bats.
Gary Sanchez/Aaron Judge/Yankees
The Yankees will face Parker Bridwell at home in Yankee Stadium. They have a team run total of five, but I think that total is low. Aaron Judge has the highest home run projection on the entire slate, and Gary Sanchez has the second highest. Sanchez is priced better for cash games, and is currently locked into my cash game lineup. I will have a lot of tournament exposure to Aaron Judge and Yankees stacks since they will be slightly lower owned while players try to fit in Coors bats.
Jason Kipnis/Edwin Encarnacion/Cleveland
Cleveland is in a great spot against Chris Tillman in Camden Yards. They have the highest team run total on the slate, even ahead of both teams in Coors. Kipnis is incredibly underpriced at just $3,900 and will be locked into my cash game lineups. It’s harder to pay for Encarnacion in cash games, but I’ll be overweight on him in tournaments. The rest of the Cleveland team is in play for tournaments.
Notes
The Giants offense was a big letdown yesterday, but stacking them in tournaments is a great strategy today. They project well and everyone who was burned by them yesterday will be off of them, creating low ownership.
I currently have no Coors exposure in cash games.
