Welcome back to week 9 of the college football season. As usual this is for the 12pm kickoff! Good luck everyone. Last week I jinked Seth Russell, so hopefully that does not happen again.
DraftKings DFS College Football Week 9 Plays of the Day
Quarterback
1st tier – Matt Davis – SMU – $7,600
Going up against a terrible Tulsa defense, you have to like the dual threat Davis this week. He is not too expensive either and still could post 30 plus fantasy points this week.
2nd tier — Perry Hills – Maryland – $5,700
Another 100 yard rushing game for Hills and a TD through the air as well. A great bargain play again this week.
Running Back
1st tier — Dalvin Cook – FSU – $9,100
You saw what LSU did on the ground against Syracuse and FSU will do the same thing. I would expect 200 yards and 2 TD out of Cook in a must start this week.
2nd tier – Xavier Jones – SMU – $4,100
Going with the same logic as earlier, Tulsa will give up a boatload of yards and points, making Jones a good play to get 10 – 15 fantasy points this week.
Wide Receiver
1st tier –JuJu Smith – USC – $7,300

He is unstoppable! He is a machine! Smith will be another good play this week against an average CAL defense. Garrett from Tulsa would also be a good play this week.
2nd tier — Zach Austin – Tx Tech – $4,000
He is becoming on the the #1 options down in Lubbock after barely playing earlier this year. I like him to have another solid game and at this price.
Sleepers
 Josh Reynolds – Texas A&M – WR – $4,400
He has been up and down all year, but I have a gut feeling this week. They play a decent defense in South Carolina, but I still think he will have a good game. 85 yards and a TD.
Justin Davis – USC – RB – $3,900
With 19 carries last week he may be taking over the staring RB position. Either way, with 15 – 20 touches I will book him at $3900 all day long!
