Dynasty Football WR Profile: Anthony Miller (fantasy football)

With the NFL draft less than a week away we all know who the top rookies are in this class. Everyone has Saquon, Guice, Chubb, DJ Moore and Calvin Ridley at the top of their lists. There are always players drafted in the later rounds that out preform their ADP and become dynasty studs. Stefon Diggs (2015 rookie ADP 24), Jordan Howard (2016 rookie ADP 22), Tyreek Hill (2016 rookie ADP 34), JuJu Smith-Schuster (2017 rookie ADP 23), just to give you an idea. So who are some late round steals in this years rookie draft? One name you should remember is Anthony Miller.

Height- 5’11”

Weight- 201

Projected 40 Time- 4.52

Projected Round- 2-3

Miller is currently being drafted at the end of the second round in rookie drafts and could be an absolute steal there. This former Memphis walk-on is being overlooked in this years draft. Though Miller is slightly undersized he makes up for it with his physicality and competitiveness. Being overlooked coming out of high school Miller had to earn everything he’s got, so don’t be afraid of his short comings. Miller is more than capable of overcoming adversity. With the best hands in this years class and phenomenal route running, look for him to step in to a slot role immediately. Everything about him reminds me of a Doug Baldwin type player, with similar size and explosiveness. Miller posted 238 catches for 3,590 yards and 37 touchdowns in college. With this type of production and upside, getting him in the late second seems criminal. I could see Miller going to Denver and taking over Emanuel Sander’s role, or going to Atlanta and becoming a solid WR2 behind Julio. Anthony Miller is a true underdog story and failure is not in his DNA. If a team drafts Miller and showcases his talents then he will be a late round pick you will not regret.
