FanDuel MLB Lineup Advice 4/16
Hey guys, we all get to take a quick breather from the heavy research with a light 6 game slate for today. Here are some of my plays for your all-day lineups:
Pitchers
Madison Bumgarner, SF – $10,500
Pretty obvious suggestion here, and I often like to build my cash game lineups around a stud pitcher that I can rely on for great production. Bumgarner is pitching against an offensively-challenged Diamondbacks team in pitcher-friendly AT&T Park in San Francisco. Look for his K and IP to both be in the 7+ range, and hopefully his teammates can provide him some offense for a win.
Chris Archer, TB – $8,600
The Rays hurler had a pedestrian outing in his first start of the year against the division foe Orioles, however he really stepped his game up in his most recent start against the Marlins. Archer allowed only one walk and one hit in seven strong innings, adding five strikeouts. Today he’s facing a right-handed dominant lineup in the Toronto Blue Jays, and he absolutely owns Encarnacion and Bautista in his career (.190 and .095 BA against Archer respectively). Look for a quality start out of Archer with the opportunity for double digit strikeouts.
Hitters
Wilson Ramos, WSH – $3,000
He had been on a cold streak to start the season, but Ramos had a nice day yesterday with a single, double, and three RBI. The Washington backstop has always had a great deal of potential, and hopefully this productive game will light a fire under him. Ramos will face Cole Hamels, which isn’t a horrible matchup.
Jean Segura, MIL – $3,100
This is a pretty automatic pick for me, especially when I saw that Segura is batting leadoff in today’s lineup for the injured Carlos Gomez. The Brewers shortstop is 3-for-3 lifetime against John Lackey, and with the sub-par starting pitching on display I think a lot of runs can be scored. Be sure to get him into all of your early lineups!
