Fantasy Football 2015: Players To Avoid in 2015

[do_widget “mailpoet subscription form”]Cam Newton-QB- CAR
Even though Cam has recovered from his Injuries and they will allow him to use his legs more, he is still hard to like. They still haven’t improved his targets.
I’m expecting a down year from Kelvin Benjamin, which should put a fork in Cam’s season. They also won’t have a tremendous running game to fall back on.
DeMarco Murray-RB-PHI
Historically, when a player carries the ball as much as Murray did last season, there is a significant decline in his numbers the following year.
After taking all those hits last season, his body has to be wearing down. When you have a Player with the durability issues that Murray has, you can’t feel comfortable with the workload he shouldered last year.
Jonathan Stewart-RB- CAR
He only played 28 games over the Last 3 seasons. Durability is reason enough to avoid him. Cam Newton and Mike Tolbert will vulture his touchdowns.
Also, keep in mind Cameron Artis-Payne is waiting for him to slip up. Let’s be honest, Payne, is a much more athletic RB.
Darren McFadden-RB- DAL

As I like to say, glass is made of Darren McFadden. He has the biggest durability questions of any player in the NFL.
I’m hearing, out of Dallas, that Joseph Randle has the lead in the race for the starting job so far. No point in drafting McFadden, when you can get Randle for a better Price.
Bishop Sankey-RB- TEN
Not much to like here. He isn’t all that talented, he got the starting job last year, not because of his talent, but, because of the lack of talent around him.
David Cobb should be taking his job this season. He can do everything Sankey can do and then some.
Doug Martin-RB-TB
The only thing that can save Martin, is a change of scenery. It appears he is going to get it, as the Bucs have decided not to take the 5th year option on his contract.
They will be making an effort to get Charles Sims involved this year, as he is the running back of the future for them.
Vincent Jackson-RB-TB
His Yards per catch and TD totals have been free falling the last 2 years. He is 32 years of age, I think this year might be the year the wheels come off. Better to avoid him than draft him, to cut him a few weeks later.
Jeremy Maclin– WR-KC
He ends up in a situation that is worth avoiding. Alex smith didn’t throw a touchdown to a WR last year. This is a small ball, conservative offense. Not the style of offense that Maclin fits into.
Roddy White-WR-ATL
Over the past couple of seasons he has certainly shown a slow down. Age is rapidly catching up to him. He managed to salvage his season last year, by dominating in the redzone. We can’t rely on that this year.
Steve Smith Sr-WR-Bal
He got old at the end of last years season, right in front of our eyes. I’m expecting his drop off in Production to continue into this season. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Breshad Perriman took his job.
