Fantasy Football: Week 11 Buy Low, Sell High
Alright, GF2 fans, it’s time once again for my Buy Low, Sell High players for the Week! Week 10 was a bit of a strange one for my fantasy lineups due to bye weeks and my wide receivers absolutely underachieving. If you too had one of these types of weeks, then take my advice on some of these players who you should either target or trade away. From Jeremy Langford’s huge last couple of weeks to Mark Ingram’s lack of touchdowns, there are plenty of players that could be on the move in your fantasy leagues.
So, here’s my Buy Low, Sell High players for Week 11:
BUY LOW
Matt Forte, Bears RB
I don’t typically target a whole lot of injured players, but Forte is a different story. The Bears are quietly climbing back into the thick of things in the NFC North, making it important for them to get him back in their lineup as soon as possible. Before going down with his MCL sprain, Forte had rushed 136 times for 548 yards and two scores. He’s also a dual-threat back as well, catching 25 balls for 219 yards and a touchdown this year as well. Here’s the other thing about acquiring Forte, Chicago has a nice fantasy playoff schedule this season! The Bears will face off against the 49ers, Redskins and Buccaneers during your potential playoff run.
Mark Ingram, Saints RB
Ingram has easily been one of the best running backs in fantasy football in 2015, but he’s been on a bit of a dry spell. Over the past three weeks, he has zero rushing or receiving touchdowns and has his bye week coming up in Week 11. So far in 2015, Ingram has rushed 145 times for 661 yards and five touchdowns. He’s also caught 40 receptions for 337 yards this season. Like Forte, he will face off against some super weak defenses come fantasy playoff time! Ingram will face off against San Francisco, Detroit and Jacksonville. Make an offer to that one owner in your league who is worried about the upcoming bye week that they can’t refuse!
DeAngelo Williams, Steelers RB
I’m going to stay on this trend with buying low on running backs because they may just be the position that’s most important to winning you a fantasy championship. Williams had a very tough go at it during Week 10, rushing the ball 17 times for just 54 yards against the league’s worst defense versus the run in the Browns. I’m hoping that some of his owners will get nervous by this poor outing and be ready to cut ties with Williams. This season, he has rushed the ball 107 times for 534 yards and five scores. Williams will get a couple of nice matchups coming up against the Colts and Ravens, so he will bounce back for you guys.
SELL HIGH
Jeremy Langford, Bears RB
I’m one of Langford’s biggest supporters there is, but if I’m telling you all to buy low on Forte, then you have to sell high here. I see Langford being the back of the future for Chicago, but for now it’s Forte’s job to lose. So far in 2015, he has rushed the ball 65 times for 225 yards and four touchdowns. Langford has also caught 12 passes for 221 yards and a score in 2015 also. Like I said above, I love this kid going forward past this season, but Forte has my fantasy heart for now.
James Starks, Packers RB
When owing Starks you have the same issue that we talked about earlier with Langford. Eddie Lacy is the starting back for Green Bay, but is hurt again this season. Stark has done a great job like always filling in for Lacy, but sadly when he comes back his role will once again diminish. This season, Starks has rushed the ball 93 times for 376 yards and one touchdown. He’s also caught 25 passes for 221 yards and two scores this season. I love Starks as a solid handcuff for Lacy owners, but that’s all. Try and sell him high while you can!

Brandin Cooks, Saints WR
Finally another position instead of a running back! Cooks has been a player who I’ve advocated buying low on all season long, but I’ve come to the conclusion he’s just way too inconsistent. In 2015, he has caught 50 passes for 701 yards and six touchdowns. I think right now is the prime time to sell high on Cooks while you can before he starts to slump once again. Also, he’s entering into his bye week, so it’d be nice to find someone else who can fill that void for your squad.
