Fantasy Football Week 11 Streamers: QB, TE, Team Defense

Before unveiling by quarterback, tight end and team defense fantasy football streamers for a new week, let’s take stock of Week 10 (Yahoo! PPR scoring; four points per passing touchdown).

Quarterback-Baker Mayfield: 22.64 points
Tight End-Jack Doyle-6.6 points
Team Defense-Los Angeles Chargers-13 points

The six teams who are idle this week aren’t flush with fantasy options as a group, so streaming might not be on the radar for a lot of fantasy owners. But here are my top quarterback, tight end and team defense streamers for Week 11.

Quarterback: Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts

Mariota went 16-for-24 for 228 yards and two touchdowns against the New England Patriots in Week 10. He has thrown multiple touchdowns in back-to-back games, with over 21 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) in each contest.

The Indianapolis Colts have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in five of their last six games, and a least 280 yards through the air in four of those. Derek Carr was the quarterback who didn’t reach that yardage total with multiple passing touchdowns, and Week 7 against the Buffalo Bills and Derek Anderson hardly counts as a notably stingy effort for the Colts’ defense.

Sunday’s game has sneaky shootout potential, indoors in Indianapolis with an early (conservative?) over-under of 48. Mariota is set to keep the positive momentum rolling, so he’s a low-end QB1/a top streamer for this week.

Others To Consider: Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons; Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals (check Joe Flacco‘s status); Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Pittsburgh Steelers; Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Giants; Eli Manning, New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Josh Rosen, Arizona Cardinals vs. Oakland Raiders; Case Keenum, Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers

Tight End: Vance McDonald, Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars

McDonald had four catches for 44 yards and a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers. That was his first touchdown since his notable stiff-arming catch and run against the Buccaneers in Week 3. But he has posted at least 5.5 PPR fantasy points in four straight games, and that’s notable with the dearth of good options at tight end.

Through their first seven games, the Jacksonville Jaguars allowed more than 50 yards to tight ends once with just one touchdown allowed to the position. But over their last two games, they’ve allowed five receiving touchdowns to tight ends with a rushing touchdown from Eric Ebron in Week 10 added for good measure.

There are a lot of mouths to feed in the Steelers’ offense, and McDonald is down the pecking order. But a softened matchup lines him up to produce, a little extra volume coupled, good odds for a touchdown and ownership rates that have him eligible makes McDonald an easy streamer at tight end this week.

Others To Consider: Evan Engram, New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (check ownership); Ben Watson, New Orleans Saints vs. Philadelphia Eagles; Ricky Seals-Jones, Arizona Cardinals vs. Oakland Raiders; Jonnu Smith, Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts; Gerald Everett/Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams vs. Kansas City Chiefs (Monday night)

Team Defense: Arizona Cardinals vs. Oakland Raiders

All things considered, holding the Kansas City Chiefs to 26 points in Week 10 is a big win for the Cardinals’ defense. Five sacks of Patrick Mahomes helped them deliver a positive fantasy total too. But the matchup is as good as it gets in Week 11.

The Oakland Raiders are a mess, and they’ve scored six points or less in three of their last four games (10 points or less in four of their last five). In those three games, Derek Carr has been sacked 18 times (at least four in all three).

The Raiders are the easy, ongoing target for a defense to stream against. In a light week for good options, as a nod to no top-tier fantasy defenses being idle, the Cardinals stand apart in Week 11.
