Coming out of week 3 we have some news to cover, DeAngelo Hall hurting his toe is worth talking aboutHe is expected to miss 3 weeks. The only other major thing to talk about, is the Panthers Placing Charles Johnson on the IR. interestingly enough that means newly acquired DE Jared Allen should get some action. Also worth mentioning the dysfunctional Bears also traded LB John Bostic to New England.

Fantasy Football: Inside The Trenches IDP Week 4 Preview.

John Bostic-LB

Bostic is a hammer and I enjoy watching him hit guys, he brings quite an impressive amount of power in each and every hit. Other than that, I don’t think he will be more than a situational player and he isn’t worth adding.

Jared Allen-DL

Allen is going to get his chance to play for the Panthers. His volume will be enough to warrant an add, however, I won’t be adding him. He is just too old. He looked slow getting off the line in Chicago and just flat-out looked toasted. He is worth watching though as the new 4-3 he will be playing in is more suitable for his skill set.

Jordan Hicks-LB

He has had 2 stud performances over the last 2 weeks. Separating himself from DeMeco Ryans, going forward he will be the guy replacing Kiko Alonso. After back to back big weeks, he may not be available, but, if he is, he can be a solid LB2.

Weekly Sleeper

Eric Kendricks-LB

He was probably one of the more disappointing defensive players coming out of last year’s draft and up until last week he hasn’t performed up to the standards we have expected of him.

Last week he had 9 tackles and seemed to be finding his form. Those could be misleading numbers though, because, he did most of his work in passing situations. Against a strong running team, he is likely to get less work and produce fewer numbers.

This week they play the Broncos who tend to be a passing offense. They haven’t had success running the ball this year and Peyton seemed to go back to the offense he ran last year. I expect lots of passing by Denver, there is a chance for another big week here.
