Free NBA DFS Fanduel Lineup Advice 12/3/15

What’s up NBA DFS fans, normally I don’t do an NBA Fanduel article for the Thursday slate of games, since they are usually only two or three games. Tonight we get an uncharacteristic six games, which has been my sweet spot thus far this year. I spiked a GPP earlier this year on a six-game slate and nearly brought down a second one if not for a late night collapse. Let’s hope I can help you do the same.

The format…

Game Winner My Game Winner will be my top play for the position. I’ll be using a combination of the matchup, recent performances, history against the current opponent and my gut to make my choices for the top play.

Dunk A Dunk is a second or third tier player with the highest upside and is someone who should give you the highest return on investment (ROI)

Half-Court Shot Otherwise known as a “punt play”. This player will be at, or near, minimum salary, but is someone I believe has a chance to greatly outperform the salary.

Pass A player deemed a Pass is someone who I’m doing just that. Passing on him. This is a top-tier player that I’ll be avoiding for various reasons. The matchup, price, recent performances, or just a gut feel are a few things I’ll take in an account.

So let’s get started…

NBA DFS Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis for 12/3/15

Point Guard

Game Winner Rajon Rondo, Kings $8300

nba dfs fanduel lineup 12/3/15Not a true revenge game since the game is in Sacramento and not Boston, and he has already played the Celtics once since leaving, but it has to still hold a special place in his mind anytime he matches up with the Celtics. Oh, by the way, that first game against the Celtics he had 43 fanduel points.

Dunk George Hill, Pacers $6300

On a short slate, there isn’t much in the way of mid-tier guys that have upside, but I think Hill has a good a chance as any to put up some good numbers against the suspect defense of Damian Lillard.

Half-Court Shot Cory Joseph, Raptors $4400

This one is a true punt, but with three straight games with 20-plus fanduel points and a game that should be a high scoring affair, Joseph could be good tonight.

Pass Mike Conley, Grizzlies $6700

He is here based solely on how he played against the Pelicans after I told anyone who would listen that he was the top play of the night. I’m bitter, so he here sits.

Shooting Guard

Game Winner DeMar DeRozan, Raptors $7500

nba dfs fanduel lineup 12/3/15The Nuggets are the second worst team guarding the shooting guard, and DeDe should thrive in what should be a fast-paced game.

Dunk Avery Bradley, Celtics $6000

Bradley has been a bit inconsistent over his last ten games, so this pick does come with risk, but his upside is good enough to take that risk. He is a GPP play only.

Half-Court Shot Gerald Green, Heat $3700

Any guy that’s getting 30-plus minutes and is priced at $3700 should always be on the fantasy radar. He could easily get you 25-plus tonight, well over his value line 18.

Pass Victor Oladipo, Magic $7500

Coming off the bench hasn’t affected him too much as he is still getting good minutes, but a matchup with the Utah Jazz is why I’ll be avoiding him tonight.

Small Forward

Game Winner Paul George, $10000

nba dfs fanduel lineup 12/3/15Three straight games over 40 fanduel points (writing this before the conclusion of last night’s Clipper game) including one over 50 and a plus matchup with the Trailblazers, George should be in that range again tonight.

Dunk Danilo Gallinari, $7100

This game is shaping up like a one I will be stacking. Gallinari has played a string of good defensive teams, but will finally get a break with tonight’s matchup with the Raptors. The Raptors show well statistically in defense versus the small forward, but I’m not buying it. Gallinari is due for a big game.

Half-Court Shot Omri Casspi, Kings $4200

I’m a glutton for punishment. Every time I put Casspi in this column he lets me down. Going to the well again after three straight 20-plus fanduel point games.

Pass Tobias Harris, Magic $6500

The Jazz factor makes this an easy pick.

Power Forward

Game Winner Derrick Favors, Jazz $8000

nba dfs fanduel lineup 12/3/15Power forward is extremely shallow tonight. Anytime Luis Scola is on the first page of power forwards on fanduel, you know it’s a night to pay up.

Dunk Chris Boch, Heat $7900

Pay up at power forward tonight.

Half-Court Shot Andrew Nicholson, Magic $4000

This pick is actually not my pick, I’m giving credit to one of my other NBA writers, Matt, who is half of the writing tandem Yourman Sandell. He is really high on this guy, but if he is great, give me the credit for putting him here, if he is awful, make sure to let him know about it.

Pass Zach Randolph, Grizzlies $6700

Just hasn’t looked right coming back from a knee injury yet.

Center

Game Winner DeMarcus Cousins, Kings $10600

nba dfs fanduel lineup 12/3/15A bit of a cop-out picking Cousins, but he is the only center tonight with 50-plus point potential.

Dunk Hassan Whiteside, Heat $8400

Whiteside hasn’t had one of his trademark games where he has scored, rebounded, and blocked a ton of shots since his triple-double on 11/17. I’m not going to go so far as to say he gets another triple double, but if he can stay out of foul trouble I can see 15/15/6 blocks as attainable.

Half-Court Shot Meyers Leonard, $4700

He got 32 minutes the other night against Dallas and seems to have won back the starting center job after missing a ton of games. He started the second half against the Mavs over Mason Plumlee, and I expect Leonard to get the start tonight.

Pass Tim Duncan, Spurs $7000

The second night of a back to back.
