NFL DFS DraftKings Cash Game Lineup – Week 15 (Main Slate – 13 Games 12/18/16)
Each week, I’ll create a cash game lineup for DraftKings. Since this is usually posted by Wednesday, the cash game lineups may change slightly by Sunday.
In cash games, you should always look for each player to reach at least 3x value.
DraftKings Points/(Player Salary/1000) = Value
Example: If Carson Wentz has a $5,000 salary and scored 15 DraftKings (DK) points, Wentz would reach 3x value based on the formula below.
15 DK Points/($5,000/1,000) = 3x Value
I will also present a 3x stat line. The 3x stat line is not a projection, but a hypothetical stat line that would allow the player to reach three times his value. When creating your own cash game lineup, choose players who you believe can reach the 3x stat line. If you look at a player and don’t think he can reach the 3x stat line, consider choosing a different option in your own lineup.
Week 14 Lineup Review
Our week 14 lineup did very well. On Sunday morning, I mentioned my pivots for my cash game lineup. Make sure you’re following me @fantasybeast15 on Twitter or Facebook to receive these updates.
The lineup scored 182.96 DK Points and cashed in all of the 50/50s I entered. See last week’s lineup below.
NFL DFS DraftKings Cash Game Lineup – Week 15
QB – Tyrod Taylor vs. (CLE) – $5,700
Taylor has a great matchup against the Browns who are 31st against the pass (all defensive rankings are from Football Outsiders). Taylor also has a high floor due to his rushing ability. He has at least 25 rushing yards in every game this year except two, and has added six rushing scores.
3x stat line: 200 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, 31 rushing yards = 17.1 DK Points

RB – Le’Veon Bell at (CIN) – $9,800
Bell is averaging 28.7 DK points this season, 35.9 DK points over his past five games, and 39.7 DK points over his past three road games. Lock him in.
3x stat line: 21 carries, 109 rushing yards, 5 catches, 45 receiving yards, 1 total touchdown = 29.4 DK Points
RB – Kenneth Dixon vs. (PHI) – $3,800
Dixon saw 60% of snaps last week while “starter” Terrance West saw just 20% of the snaps. Dixon carried the ball 11 times (his second highest total this year) and added eight receptions on 11 targets (both season highs). Philadelphia ranks 12th against the run, but 21st against running backs in the passing game. The Ravens are favored by six at home so if Dixon takes over more of the running work, the game script could set up nicely as well.
3x stat line: 11 carries, 44 rushing yards, 4 catches, 30 receiving yards = 11.4 DK Points
WR – Demaryius Thomas vs. (NE) – $6,300
Thomas has double-digit targets in seven of his past eight games. He has at least five catches in every game since week one and gets a matchup against the Patriots 27th ranked run defense. The Broncos lack a running game right now, and the Patriots are 2nd against the run. I think the Broncos will be forced to move the ball through the air in this one.
3x stat line: 6 catches, 69 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown = 18.9 DK Points
WR – Ty Montgomery at (CHI) – $4,800
With Christine Michael and James Starks questionable entering this game, I’m expecting Montgomery to be the lead running back for the Packers. The Bears are 20th against the run and last week, Montgomery tied his season high in carries. Montgomery also had nine carries and ten catches when these teams met earlier in the year.
3x stat line: 12 carries, 49 rushing yards, 5 catches, 45 receiving yards = 14.4 DK Points
WR – J.J. Nelson vs. (NO) – $3,900
Michael Floyd played 99 percent of the offensive snaps last week after playing 92 percent the week before. Floyd was released by the Cardinals which leaves a lot of snaps for J.J. Nelson and John Brown to play this week. I’m going with Nelson here since Brown has seen limited snap counts due to his sickle cell trait.
3x stat line: 4 catches, 77 receiving yards = 11.7 DK Points
TE – Jermaine Gresham vs. (NO) – $2,500
I’m still confused why Gresham is at the minimum price after averaging 11.4 DK points over his past four games. 11.4 isn’t a huge number, but it is more than 4.5x his salary.
3x stat line: 4 catches, 35 receiving yards = 7.5 DK Points
FLEX – David Johnson vs. (NO) – $10,100
Johnson had a “bad” game last week and still finished with 18.1 DK points. His floor is higher than anyone in the league. The Saints are 17th against the run, but are 32nd against running back receptions. David Johnson has 104 targets this season.
3x stat line: 21 carries, 107 rushing yards, 5 catches, 56 receiving yards, 1 total touchdown = 30.3 DK Points
D/ST – Baltimore Ravens vs. (PHI) – $3,100
The Ravens are favored by six at home against an Eagles team that has averaged just 16 points per game over their past four games. The Eagles have lost four straight and now will face the Ravens who are ranked second in total defense, first against the run and seventh against the pass. It also helps that Wentz has thrown seven picks over the same stretch.
3x stat line: 14-20 points against, 3 sacks, 3 total turnovers = 10 DK points (3.2x)
